To be honest, I couldn't listen to it right now - I started, but was very irritated by the tempi at the beginning. It's like Wit is in a hurry and forces the orchestra to move up a gear.
I'm very familiar and love the Maazel recording with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, also Bernsteins interpretation with the same orchestra (man, what soloists he had! Edda Moser, Agnes Baltsa, Hermann Prey, Jose Van Dam,..!!), so I need patience and time to give this a listen.
But anyway: I'm glad to got this and have the chance to listen to it carefully! Thank you for your share! :)

i have downloaded it twice and unrar with winrar and 7zip, neither worked...What about “Mahler.8.Wit.Stereo.part3”? Did you download that file? If you only downloaded Parts 1 & 2, then that's exactly what WinRar should be saying to you, because you're missing Part 3. I sent you 8 links. 1 link for the "Scans" file, 3 links for the Hi-Res Stereo files, and 4 links for the Surround files. yes, i have downloaded all 3 parts for stereo. the reason i think its problem with part 2 is i have successfully extracted track 1-13, 23-26. just missing 14-22. ill try download part2 again
