Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No.1 is quickly becoming one of my all-time favourites, I've been listening to it everyday for the past week. I love how the solo violin goes through different moods - slow, quick, intricate, intense and then there is the final 2 mins of the 3rd movement where the solo violin sounds like birds chirping. Wonderful stuff!
