How is it different?
Siberian Overture would be nice. In the film there’s strings and some other missing instruments.

There’s a lesser gap between the last scene and the End Credits, as in, it immediately cuts to the next theme. The album version of Cap’s Promise has a bigger gap separating the two themes. Also, less drums in the film version from what I can hear.
Right after the Winter Soldier theme (the scene where they find the super soldier serum), the album version of Siberian Overture had like 3 seconds cut. I don’t have the Blu-ray myself otherwise I’d have ripped it, and I also don’t have a proper video editor so excuse the terrible framerate and audio. Purely for demonstration purposes.

Thank You Very Much.
I’ll check that soon. But as you say, only "if not too much trouble". Meaning – If the speech/SFX are too prominent, i’ll skip that 🙂
It’s the last 40 seconds that I want. From what I can hear, the film and album versions sound the same till they cut to the Marvel logo. Jackman and whoever mixed the album decided to trim a few seconds here, add more drums…
Also noticed that the End Credits Pt 2. versions of Larger Than Life and Standoff also vary from the album versions. More strings, cymbals, brass…
Is it normal for a AAA movie score to have that much variation between film and album mixes?
So… does that mean that you are interested in the music that plays during the Marvel Logo? Because i just listened to all of it up until the logos ended. And the beginning was quite SFX heavy.
Yeah! From 00:02:38 onwards, if I remember the marking correctly…

Really? I thought they’d keep the Marvel fanfare sfx-free!
I meant the beginning of the film 🙂 the Marvel Logo was quite ok. Will check it more thoroughly later tonight and get back to you
Thank you! And actually, it was my mistake; I didn’t word my initial request to you properly 🙂
I have compared the filmmix against the official release and:
The first part (up until the Marvel Logo) is 8-9 seconds longer than the official.
The Marvel Logo runs almost 2 seconds longer than the official.
However, the part up until where the logos starts is quite heavily riddled with speech and sfx. What i could do is mix the film version of the Marvel Logo with the official release of Siberian Overture and get a clean version that way. But then there’s the 8-9 seconds longer film version of Siberian Overture… I have listened to it and can do a simple center channel removal, but there will still be audible speech and sfx left. Removing more channels will also remove parts of the music and trying to remove the speech and sfx… well, it will not be an enjoyable listen.
So… i will do that mix (Siberian Overture (official)/Marvel Logos (film version) and upload it for anyone interested. It will not be much different from the original. And i will also upload the entire film version of it with the center channel removed. It will have speech residue and sfx but can be interesting to compare with the original.
I second that!
