I guess this would be the unofficial thread for this soundtrack, so I'll probably bump this at the start of December and its release date.

This makes me very happy. I wish Nintendo did that, too.

It's going to be 97 tracks long and it looks like not only the original tracks in the game are going to be in it, but it's also going to contain some songs that the game used that were originally from other Kirby games.

Dude. Yes. This makes me so happy, as this is one of the best Kirby soundtracks ever (IMHO). Even though we do have gamerips, nothing beats an official soundtrack. So much hype, I cannot wait! Also, it's been quite a while since a full official Kirby soundtrack. For a long time we didn't have anything, and then we got the Club Nintendo (RIP) sound "selections" which were still awesome, but this is going to be amazing.

So I know that Vegeta ordered the soundtrack and is going to rip the soundtrack in a couple weeks, but I was curious, would anyone like to translate the track names on its VGMdb page (http://vgmdb.net/album/63000)? I was thinking on doing it myself, but I feel like putting the Japanese names into Google Translate and getting the English names from that isn't really considered a proper way to do that. I just thought it would be a way to pass the time.

What's the source of translations, Lefante? Your own Japanese or Google Translator?

The English version of the seven tracks are: Overload Ocean, Patched Plains, Access Ark, Gigabyte Grounds, Resolution Road, Rhythm Route, and Mind in the Program.

Well, I am still offended. That "iffiness and wonkiness" is called.. actual translating. Ever heard about it? Most translations in VGMDB are iffy and wonky to me, and downright wrong. Like "Shokei ni Negai wo..." (from Danganronpa) is translated "Desire for Execution", which is so wrong it makes me puke, because the actual translation is "Pleading on the Brink of Execution...". Which means someone is.. 'pleading NOT TO BE EXECUTED', not DESIRING TO BE. What the heck is 'Desire for Execution'... Man! My translations may sound different, because I don't make compromises like most do. People try to compress the whole meaning in few words, and that is often the reason of wrong translations.... because NUANCES, Japanese has huge amount of them, and they are difficult to translate without using extra words, which is mayhap the reason my translation seems wonky. I am not completely happy with this Kirby translation, though, but I NEVER SAID I want it to be 'the official' one, I'm not "pro" and I never want my translations to be IN VGMDB, because the only reason people should visit there is to check the album codes - I usually ignore their tracklists - at least English ones - completely. You just went and sent it there, without my consent. AND the whole OST of Kirby PR sounds kinda wonky in _Japanese_ in the first place due nuances. So I tried to preserve the style in translation as well.. But hey, people can use their machine-translations, to make machine-like translations for all I don't care.. Feel free to learn Japanese and make your own translations, if you have enough time to criticize others'. No offense, of course.
