I had no idea there were so many illiterate people here at FF Shrine!!!

Because a whole bunch of you are sending me private messages to request links,

even though I specifically said in every single share that I have posted that

requests for links are to be posted in the thread!!!!!!

Would you guys please get this through your skulls!!!!

Thank you!!!!!!

Yeah good luck with this. I still get PMs for all my threads. That's ok though, I don't even read them. That delete button is my favorite thing in the whole world

Also, remember not everyone on here is blessed to have English as their primary language. I suggest, for your own health, you simply delete private messages altogether. Don't worry about them and if anyone asks, you can tell them you don't take requests as private messages. Simple solution.

That's clearly what I'm going to have to do. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42753709/Photobucket/madyes.gif

But uhhh....we do tell them we don't take requests. I always say "PM requests will be ignored". Eventually they're usually able to figure out they need to post in the thread....after a decent amount of time has gone by since they requested it via PM. Most of the time, but not always. Ohh well, it's not my problem.

So what you're saying is that I should send you a private message for links then. Got it. :D

I'm not really sure. But you should definitely send bob a PM to thank him for such an informative thread.

Actually, it seems to work fine with my releases. Only once in a while I get PMs although I say that it's thread-request only.

I want only pm and guys continue to ask me in thread so I ignore him as written in my sign.

Btw some guys don't follow our rule so they will get no stuff.

I want only pmI have no problem with that, because I can easily see how it would make things easier to organize for you. I prefer a request in the thread, however, because by posting in my thread, they're bumping the thread back to the front of the line and thereby keeping it "alive" longer. It's purely a preference on my part. But since I'm the uploader, that means that I get my preference on my uploads. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42753709/Photobucket/biggrin1.gif

I prefer a request in the thread,

it depends on the OP, normally, if the OP wants PM, normally bump the thread himself

Now where is he saying that? He's just addressing a common problem. Just in the wrong sub forum.

Yes. This is one of the main reasons why I have people post in the thread rather than PM me. Each new post bumps the thread to the top, generating popularity and everyone sees it. I've missed out on a lot of things due to a thread being PM only and therefore practically nobody posting in said threads.

Also, it's easier for you as OP to send one PM to 5 people. It doesn't work the other way around. You can't have a group of 5 people send you the same PM. What I like to do is wait a few days after X number of people have posted in the thread. Let's say 25 people posted. That's only 5 PMs I have to send out vs 25 individual PMs. "It is only logical"

Stop bitching. Unless you are viewing the website through a knight helmet and see only through a tiny slit, this is not obscuring your view of the 20000 other threads here. Get off your high horse mate.

Not that this makes it OK, but I started the two discussions threads in the downloads forum simply because the downloads forum is pretty much the only one that I ever visit, so it simply didn't occur to me to start them in the discussion forum.

He knows to put it in the sub forum he acts like his name ...Yes, you're right, I do know it. But since I'm addressing people who are too incompetent to even scroll down to the part of my post where I tell them to put their request in the thread, what possible reason could I have for assuming that they're going to be savvy enough to go to an entirely different subforum and view my griping and whining in that other subforum??????? I have to put it where they are most likely to see it.
