Chocobos where first sighted in ff4..... i think. Or was it 2? I like what square(whatever) did with em. making em do something worth while into knights was kinda cool.

Well when you think about it an egg sounds most reasonable. Considering that all birds (Flying, Non-Flying and Swimming) come from eggs, why not chocobos?
