Help! I need some advice on how to capture a chocobo.
Everytime I go into battle and a chocobo appears, I give the chocobo some greens so it would stay, then I kill the monster, but then just as my character Yuna was boosting up to give it again some greens, it escaped...
Any tips on how to capture the chocobo easily?

Give it a green before it can attack!

Maybe.. you should FIRST capture the chocobo and AFTER THAT kill the other fiends..
I always did it that way.. So..

What are you talking about Jasmijn? That's not possible. You have to kill the fiends first and once the battle's ended with the chocobo still standing, then it gets sent to the Ranch automatically.
rinoa_heartilly --- if you're getting killed by the chocobo, then either level up some or try moving to different area, different areas contains chocobos with different temperaments. Or have a white mage and be ready with Curaga. Keep using the greens on it and have at least one character with a strong attack so that you can finish the enemies quickly. I recommend the Kilika woods, most of the enemies that the chocobos are paired with there are pretty easy to kill, although the chocobos will probably attack you. And occasionally they may still run away, that just happens once in a while and there's nothing you can do about it.
On a final note, I hope you're in Chapter 5. You can't get the higher-level chocobos until then.

Choco Meteo shouldn't kill your characters if they're at Full HP. If it kills your characters, you're not healing enough. Level 60+ should be just fine, equip some accessories that boost HP if absolutely necessary. Oh, forgive me if this sounds stupid, but you are feeding the chocobos the correct type of greens, right? Clasko gives you several different types of greens, but off-hand, I believe it's only the Gysahl Greens that are good for giving the chocobos to catch them.

Ooh, other types of greens? Yeah, those are only good for feeding. If you're still confused about the types of greens, ask Clasko to give you his explanation again. But only Gysahl Greens for catching.

thanks for the tip, agent...
