What are your first impressions on Final Fantasy X-2?
Me? Well, after opening the damn super-sealed box of the game, I think I spent like 5 hours playing it, then I kinda noticed that FFX-2 was kinda increasing the sex appeal of the characters, especially Yuna.
From long japanese skirt style to sexy revealing style. What do you think?

My first impression was: WTF is this?!? The whole real Emotion video at the beginning made me think, wow this game must suck, so I played for an hour or two and then left it alone for a month, then I picked it back up and loved it and played it nonstop, so I has a terrible first impression but it was a false one.

uh-huh.............. i know, everyone encounters very bad first impressions......

I didn't I think it started well. Before FFX-2 I had only tried FF9 and i can't remember much from that game. Only that your starting in a house. So I felt cool, sexy, brilliant. I liked it...

Played it on release last year but I didn't like it, impulse-bought it a few weeks ago and I've been bloody addicted ever since.

Loved it from the beginning. I'd read up on it, knew what it was about, and was ready for something fresh.

When I played and realized that you really couldnt use different characters, I was kinda disapointed, but quickly realized that I never really used more than the traditional same 3 man party, or more based on the game. The story kinda struck my as awkward based on past FFs especially the characters all being girls, but hey, i still loved throwing my shoulder outta wack by doin Trigger Happy so much. I use the faast shoulder moving strategy as oppossed to the finger flicking, gets more clicks in my opinion.

Oh that's right I've also played FFX a lot(really not that much)

When I saw the opening scene.. I though!! HEhe.. how fun!!
After that I thought it was really funny to first walk with Rikku and stuff..
So.. I my impressions were pretty good..

Well... when I saw the trailer from FFX-2 I was so excited, I got very high expectations then, I tought it would be as great as FFX (stupid...cause sequels in general are not as good as original). The major reason for playing the sequel was, because I wanted to know how it would be when yuna & tidus were together again. But now I�ve played the game through, I felt a bit disappointed after. Biggest disappointment was the amount of FMV�s, much fewer then FFX. Altough, I think it was well worthy playing :) , voice acting has been improved, dressspheres etc...

Yuna's singing at the start also cracked me up! I didn't think it was going to be any good.

But, of course, first impressions can be misleading. And i completed the game and actually liked it. I even liked the dress spheres!!!

i must admit the opening sequence freaked me out. i was like: "WTF is with this song!" lol i was losing the will to live just watching it! but i liked the game overall i got used to the opening 2 lol ^_^

Finally, some people that share my dim view on this game. When i first turned the game on i was kinda imbarresd as my bros were watching and i was like, hey this isn't cool, this... girlyfied, ...and ..and .. its all YUNAS FAULT! :(

the game started picking up around chapter 2 when you go to bevelle. the beggining was very boring

yeah,i agree,bevelle was probally the only serious event in the game.Even the end battles arent as serious as they should be IMO.

After I finally got it started up { A really screwed up PS2 is to blame}, I played it nonstop. Until I had to go to bed.

Then after that, I couldn't get it started up for about 2 weeks, so my mom bought a new PS2 and I played it and beat it all in almost 2 months tops.

The thing like with the ending battle in FFX2, is that YuRiPa is actually joking, when it�s supposed to be damn serious. Some of you might think that spoils it, but I dont. It saved me from being to nervous ;P I wasn�t surprised by the opening movie, cause I was stupid enough to download both the opening FMW, 1000 words (in japanese) AND the dream video. I also saw a glimt of the ending in one movie, so.. I was a bit prepared about the clothes ;P I love Yunas new style, dont get me wrong, I hate her new clothes but I think she loosend up a bit in X-2, she was actually acting like a teenager ;P

I thought that all the characters became more..."revealing." Yuna never used to wear the stuff in ffx like she does now...she always wore that long skirt and now its like half a skirt and mini shoirts :S shes hott though...

All my m8s and i thought that the game was great at the beginnin. All the same girls except in shorter skirts! but after the first bit the game gets pointless and boring.

Someone please tell me the point of the game in the first place.

ive never played the game but ive heard about it and talk tells me that its poo..but im stil going to buy/play mainly because its a ff game

When I first saw the first minute of the Real Emotion video at the beginning, I was like oooo....that's looks really fun and awesome.... but then when Rikku came in. I said to myself... What happened to their clothes man ???? Did they turn into stippers ???? The appearance was kinda too much though. Other then the clothes adn the new look for the characters, the game itself was pretty cool. I got addicted to it pretty fast.

I personally think that the game is pretty good. It covers the holes of FFX and it is entertaining and stunningly beautiful to look at. I think a lot of people were kind of turned off by the so called "Lara Croft" appeal that Yuna has in the beginning of the game, lol.

well... i don't know... i guess they don't like ff characters being compared with other game characters...

It kinda had, a fun, flighty feel to it when it started, but it is difficult to stay tuned into some of the parts that are a bit too...racy and..flamboyant. lol

i loved FFX-2, but it thought it was a bit empty wihtout Tidus...

I Was Blown Away By The Real Emotion FMV. I Hope Major Songs Like This And 1000 Words, Eyes On Me, Suteki Da Ne, Etc Become A Bigger Part In Future FF's.
The Gameplay Was Really Good Too. I Liked The First Mission To The New Gagazet Area. Lots Of The Beginning Of X-2 Was Fun!

alright i know there is porbably another forum for this but you guys could really help me out.
I bought a pre-playled and when i told my mates he said it was stuffed becuase of the beggining, it's starts with Yuna in her ffx summoner dress then goes to her singer sphere and sings after a while u figure out that it was LeBlanc in yunies sphere. Is this the correct beggining? Thanks to whoever answers me!!!

Reading back alot i saw this. The fact that u only controll 3 peole is a very postitive thing with this game. It is so annoying in other games, like FF7 (they loved to do this) which tears up your team all the time and shoves you with some lame ass character you have never even trained. I was thankfull 10-2 did this only 3 character thing.

The first time I saw the game, I hated it. It looked to much like Charlies Angels and not enough like a FF title. Later though, it became better. I liked it, but it wasnt nearly as good as X.

I liked FFX better cause you could lvl up a lot more. But my first imression was cool!!!!
I tried ffx-2 before ffx so i really enjoined the game. And both of the opening songs of the to ffx's are so great!!!

Yeah, you can continue, it's here now and I didn't lock it, so it may as well be used for its purpose...
