review (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/driving/granturismo4/review.html?tag=boxcar_ps2_review_image)

well it looks to be the same quality Gt has upheld since the first game. Hopefully since this is a review that must mean the game is coming out next month (which I hope is true). Cuz shit all those delays killed me. Anyone excited about this game.

What amazes me is why it kept getting delayed, what have the polyphony digital been spending their time on? think about it, it's been delayed countless times -and all that the developers have done is throw away the online mode.
If anyone knows why it was delayed for so long, i'd be happy to hear! But yeah, it's looking great! Please excuse the irony of my sig!

Perhaps the addition of new cars and the physics details for them? Or working out some newly discovered bugs in the programming that the testers were discovering?

Well, I'm used to delays, because I love Square-Enix, and Square delays their games all the time (especially Final Fantasy games, take XII for example).

Back on topic, I am very excited about Gran Turismo 4. It sucks that the online feature was trashed, but maybe we'll see a full online Gran Turismo 5 for the PlayStation 3. Who knows?

Having spent most of my waking hours since 7:00am yesterday playing it, I can say that the lack of an online mode isn't that big a loss. It's already an incredible game without it, but I don't think online play would be spectacular anyway because of the collision physics. I know that I'd spend my time bashing other people and using the cheapest tricks possible to win. It wouldn't be much fun, if you ask me.

Well I don't mind the online part being trashed since I was'nt interested in it to begin with. Well anyway I'm waiting to get it soon so at least it'll be available now.

It's a shame online paly was nixed. I love GT games, but the lack of car damage really angers me. The apparently GT beating (but probably won't be) Forza Motorsport is being released on XBOX soon, which I can't wait for. It has damage and online play too. Yay.

Ex-Seed: It is a very, very, VERY top of the line steering wheel. Only $150 at this site, http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?cookie%5Ftest=1&product_id=801681.

Also, 900 degree steering. :)

hmm, I'll consider it but I'm playing fine with my controler. Anyway I'm having a good ole time playing this game. I'm already starting the Professional Events and I'm using the photo options in the game. It kicks ass! =)
