I would like to fix a score I made for The Avengers (2012). Usually when I make scores I extract the audio with a program called "DVD Audio Extractor". I have the DVD for The Avengers, but when I try to use DVD Audio Extractor the program freezes and kicks me out so I can't extract the audio. Is there a way to get the job done where I can extract channels or something into separate WAV channels? I'd like to clean it up the best I can so I am left with pretty everything else BUT the talking. I tried extracting a copy of the actual movie and converting it into a WAV file but that is always difficult to work with because of the talking. If anyone has done this or knows how to do this AND can help I would really appreciate it.

Dude, the sessions leaked years ago... no need to go through all that trouble.

Ditto as per TheSkeletonMan939.

Also, DVDs usually don't provide an isolated music channel. Almost certainly there'll be speech and sound effects and varying volume levels.

Absolutely. Many people have the misconception - and I once thought this too - that the isolated music is hidden in the rear channels or something.
This is true only for some relatively low-budget DTV films and TV shows. It is very rare for this to be the case for full-length feature films. Surround sound is meant to bring the sound environment to life in a realistic way, and sometimes that means a character is shouting behind you or an explosion is rocking your rear speakers.

There ARE such things at isolated scores on DVDs - but they have always been rare and some even have sound effects mixed in anyway.
