Okay here is my problem.
I installed FF7 onto my computer and I know that they do not support win 2K as an operating system (in my opinion is dumb) but I instelled it anyways. I have a quirky system lock in the first Battle.

Intro movie happens, Train arraives at the Station, every one gets off the train, and I am in control. so far so good.

Now the first wave of Shinra's soldiers come and I enter the battle screen. (SYSTEM LOCK) and I am unable to do anything.

I have an AMD 1.4 gig proceesor
1 gig of memory
Radeon 9600 SE 128 mb video card with current udates (drivers)
Soudblaster Live 5.1 with Current updates (drivers)
80 gigs of HD space
windows 2000 OS.

Now I have tried to slow down the Render speed. I have tried several Dowloads of patches, still not up to snuff.
What am I doing wrong?!

I don't know much about computers, but I think that's your problem.

Seriously if you know it doesn't work with your os then you try to play anyway then you get error do really think it could possibly be anything else.

I never said it didn't work with my OS. I said my OS wasn't supported. Just like XP is not a supported OS yet it works within that OS. That is my problem, I used to have an Xp box, it fried on me and when I rebuilt my computer I used Win 2k as my OS. Virtually all of the games say that these systems of operation are not suppoorted but if the game will not function in it they say that on the box, and prior to actual install of game. It said nether, So I am trying to figure out what I can do to make it work.

But thanks for the concideration of my problem.

I do not own a tv, there fore I do not own a PS1, PS2 Or any of those gaming systems. All information is gained throught the Internet. I play COMPUTER games, so I bought FF7 for the computer. That is why I don't have it on PS1.

It would probably save you time just buying a TV and a PSOne with FFVII. I think FFVII on the PC is crap (not that there is any difference) but, still.
