I dont mind using yuffie i just think cait sith is worthless in battle and his only purpose is in the story nothing else yuffie at least is more usful.

The both of them really annoyed me. I hated using both of them in battle, they drove me insane. But I agree with Trekkie, Yuffie would have to be the more useful of the 2.

Cait Sith rocked. Aeris was my summoner and when she died i switched to him. He had good amount of mp aand when equipped with so many summons he only has about 2500hp. thats good though because at the end before sephiroth, every attack that hit him made his limit go to max. Yuffie sucked, cait sith rocked

You played it too many times... I liked Cait Sith because he was so weird-looking. He sucked as a character, but that didn't really matter because I levelled up way too much anyway. I never will know how good a character Yuffie is because I hate her so much. That was why I liked the materia system; I could select characters on my own whims in stead of which ones were good.

My Yuffie is 2 levels above my Cloud, I'd really like to replace my Cid with Cait Sith, but the lvl gap is really bad...

there is nothing wrong with cait sith or yuffie they are just like any other character as for yuffie she is quite good in battle and cait sith does play an important role as a spy for shinra who turns good.

I have no problems with both of them. I just don't like Cait Siths limits, because he is the only one who can kill your own party if you are unlucky....

Actually, I finished setting all my characters up with jacked up materia after fighting the weapons. Believe it or not, I used all double/triple growth weapons and armor fighting them. All I really used was W-Summon KOTR and had Final Attack-Phoenix, and then all you need is a little luck (i.e. not having the Emerald Weapon use Aire Tam Storm four times in a row, which happened to me) It was all just a mad quest for power which ultimately proved pointless because after I beat the weapons there was literally nothing that I couldn't defeat by leaving the game on and not pressing any buttons. My whole point here is that it makes Cait Sith's limit breaks obsolete.

I think his point was that Cait Sith has a lot of HP, so you can load him with summon materia without making him a MeatSim. But I wouldn't know; I've never had motion sickness.

I used Cait Sith in my final party against Safer-Sephiroth and had him deliver the final blow. i lost touch with reality and started playing Sonic the Hedgehog from that point foreward.

You can't beat the Conformer, lvl 99 enemy = 600% damage!... except maybe with Death Penalty.

While Aerith was the only character that made me happy, Yuffie is the only character that made me really laugh. She's cute and she's a good person. She steals your materia, but only because she wants to help her village. She's not bad, she's jus trying to help. She's one of my favorite characters, I like her a lot. I'm a big fan of Yuffie. As for Caith Sith, I like him, too. He's a good guy. He did deceive you, but he's sorry about that and he's definetly a cool character.

I love Yuffie. I use her a lot and she's always the first one to get her Level Four Limit Break whenever I play. She's so cute! Now, Cait Sith, I love as a character. I would put him in a movie (as long as it was clear that he was a robot), and he would be great comic relief if done in a right way. I think he's a nice little mascot, though I will agree that he is totally useless as far as battles go. Ouch.

i really liked cait sith. he was one of the only good charachters. he saved me with the slot limit break when yuffie stole all my materia. i hated yuffie for that and when i stared again i called her HAM FACE. no really, i did.

yuffie is okay to play with but cait sith is just useless

Yuffie was my 3rd strongest character, behind Cid & Vincent, but i had to use someone else (have a guess? >:O ) for the battles after cloud recovered, so i just used Vicent Cid and Cloud.

True, but there is a materia called final attack, which you can combine with pheonix

So that would cancel Cait Sith's attack on your party? (I never had the final attack materia..)

Actually it won't, but when your party dies. The final attack materia combine with the pheonix materia would revive your entire party. So it's an easy win I suppose...

Ah I see then, didnt know that...

But that's only if the assault of Knights of the round has been stopped, combine with sneak attack. At the beginnning of the battle, since I have quadra magic combine with KOTR and sneak attack which starts the battle off you summoning KOTR, and afterwards using mime to keep it going. But cait sith is still the easiest way to kill a boss such as emerald weapon with one attack...

Next time I get around to playing FF7, Ill try using Cait Sith. I just didnt know that he was this useful...

Yuffie had some of the best Limits of the game. She is extremely strong physically especially when using the Magic Shurkien(or whatever they're called). I got her that at lvl 30 on disk one and she did 1k dmg most of the time.

I ll tell you what his uses are: his "Slots" Limit Break....get the 3 parts of his face and you ll perform a special called "Game Over". It kills anything. Bye Bye Emerald and Ruby Weapon! Bye Bye anyone. Thats the only reason and only time when I use Cait Sith. For the rest you are right about Cait Sith. And yeah...Yuffie is good at Morphing with her Ultimate Weapon.

Think again. You obviously dont know the secret behind his "Slots" LB: "Game Over". Thats the only reason why Cait Sith deserves some respect.

Yeah I guess - but everyone else has Limit Breaks that inflict damage, too - so they're nothing special.

(Although Cloud's Finishing Touch is good on large groups.)
