Four DC Comics shows will merge for "biggest ever" crossover event.
BY MATT FOWLER One probably guessed this was on the way, given Supergirl's new move from CBS to The CW for its second season -- and The CW releasing their fall 2016 schedule featuring four of its five weekday nights kicking off with a DC Comics series -- but a giant four-show mega crossover event is headed our way that will bring together Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

On a conference call with the press this morning, CW head Mark Pedowitz confirmed that all four of their Greg Berlanti-produced DC series will join up for one big story. Said Pedowitz, "Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December," while also referring to the crossover as "the biggest one ever."

Pedowitz also said he felt Supergirl should have been a CW series from the start.

"The fact it’s now moved to The CW, where it should have been in the first place, I don’t think it will have a big impact on the tone,” he said of Supergirl's network shift.

I assume this means the 4 shows will crossover at the same time where, for example, on Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Flash, and Arrow characters will appear, Legends of Tomorrow characters will appear on the other 3 shows, and so on. It'll be a great thing if done right. But a lot of times, things like this don't live up to what it should because it ends up being a case of "cramming too much at once" which I hope doesn't happen here. The Flash crossing over to Supergirl for the World's Finest episode and the Arrow/Flash crossovers were all enjoyable for me.

What are your thoughts on this? What is your wishlist for this "mega crossover event"?

P.S. As I mentioned, The Flash crossed over to Supergirl. Now we have to see Supergirl cross over to Flash, Arrow and Supergirl crossing over to each other's shows, Supergirl and Flash crossing over to LoT and LoT crossing over onto the other 3 shows.

I'm amazed they managed to do this before Marvel's Defenders even started shooting. Granted, this is going to be an event, whereas Defenders is a full on show. I haven't gotten to care about the CW shows, especially when I hear how awful Arrow became and The Flash not having the best second season. Still, fans should be happy to see all the heroes they've seen on TV together. A joyful time, this is.

They Do It Yearly When The Shows Air or a New One Starts. The Only Reason It Is Bigger Thia Year is the Whole Team of Legends are Set and Supergirl Joined the CW, Otherwise it Would Have Been The Normal "Flarrow" Crossover.

Although I Am Excited. :o
