Another Col legno recording of contemporary Spanish music, which includes the world premiere recording of the first symphony by the Madrilenian composer Carlos Cruz de Castro (1941). Also included is the Old Tocatta in a New Tone, based on material from the Forth Tocatta of the Fifth Tone, by the Valencian Baroque composer Juan Bautista Cabanilles (1644-1712).
