(Mr. Gold made a cover!)
After the film Saving Grace came out, which featured Martin Clunes as Dr. Martin Bamford in a supporting role, two prequel films were released that put the good doctor front-and-center as the main character, detailing a couple of his previous misadventures in Cornwall. Mark Thomas crafted brilliant music for these two films, and they hold the top spot on my Holy Grail list. Before he re-designed his website, Thomas had a selection of three cues from the films and I fortunately downloaded them before everything was wiped (I don't have anything else from his old site, so please don't ask!).
1) Doc Martin (taken from his Cool Music Ltd. bio page)
2) Night Magic
3) Pagan Practitioner
4) The Cloutie (ripped from the end credits, so there are some light FX near the beginning)
MEGA (https://mega.nz/#!CMd0HJDL!3wHaeRA-LktDIM7cs2UI8K9jmZSBdEAajXQM_QDJ3vA)
Cues 2 and 3 are at a considerably low bitrate but well worth the listen. Colin Towns created a fun piano soundscape for the Doc Martin television series, but I feel Thomas created a stronger musical product. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
