Birds Do It, Bees Do It (1974). Wolper Production. Animal procreation documentary.
Unreleased music in Flac, no artwork.
22 tracks, 55:20 minutes
Flac files in two folders. PM for download links.

All thanks for the Gerald Fried and Paul Sawtell material go to their number one fan. Some scores are only available on hard copy for now. Anyone interested, let me know and I can put you in touch with him.
Fried is still alive and kicking in New Mexico, and is recording the music for a Star Trek parody in May.

A preliminary comparison reveals that there are a number of combined tracks. For instance, track 3 on this version begins with track 17 "Maggots Eating Mouse" and then segues to track 19 "Trout" from the other version.

Perhaps feedthecats can scrounge up a reference copy. I can't seem to locate one.

I feel like James Garner's character Hendley "The Scrounger" in THE GREAT ESCAPE :)

Sadly, although I have a few more track title goodies to come, this isn't one of them :(

We might presume the other version is sequenced to film and sadsack's version represents the recording sequence, but without reference to the film, who can say.

Alternate cover here (Thread 90457) if interested.

My source has the original cue names, and edited his version according to the film. He thought the "alternate" version was available from Europe, might have been from the movie's music-only track.
Looks like the alt. version was available from Tony at one time:

Without yet accounting for extended silent gaps, I wonder if the difference in play time between the two versions represents the edit the producers were obliged to make for the US censor board by circumcising all the money shots? Perhaps some of Fried's score was excised in the process.
