I have an EXCELLENT piece of news for all Lamune fans!

I have finally bought OST for FRESH (called Fresh Fresh Fresh) and vocal album called "Ore wa Ima Mouretsu ni Nekketsu Uta-gassen!" and I'm waiting to those to arrive!

Will make a better compilation with those �BER RARE OSTs and share it!

New information! 'Fresh Fresh Fresh' and 'Ore wa Ima Mouretsu ni Nekketsu Uta-gassen!' albums are in the customs, and I have made the necessary actions to get them, so if all goes well, I will be getting the CDs in two days! This means, soon NG-VS music is complete. But ONE OST (called WE ARE Ichiban!) is still missing.. I am not going to buy it, though, because it has only a few tracks not available anywhere else, and those are BGM and drama tracks, all the other tracks are available in other OSTs.

You don't know how long I have waited for these OSTs to emerge.. I listened to Para Para Mix of 'Mezase Ichiban!' in 1999, and since then I have been a fan of Lamune music, so it's been yes, 18 years of waiting. But finally they are here.

yea the first time I watched VS lamune was back in 1997 I think, and I bought all the soundtracks a couple years later from cdjapan. I was still a kid then, didn't do much research before purchase. It turned out my favorite being FIRE OST3, and FRESH OST second. FIRE OST2 had too many drama tracks in it, I shoulda spent those money on the singles instead. Oh well...

Fire OST 2 has 'ENERGY OF LOVE.' though. :) Did you know that VS Lamune & 40 Fire has been subbed twice? First was in the 90s, by Onion.. something... Subs in GLORIOUS VHS quality! I actually have those VHS rips, and they are just awful! However, Live-eviL and Dattebayo subbed DVD version some years ago, which is the more known version. Also, NG Knight Lamune & 40's first episode was subbed by Anime-Haven YEARS ago, then Nyoro~n subbed eps 1 (again)-15, and Lameness subbed a few more (but they - Lameness - use Spanish subs as a base, blegh). The subbing history of Lamune is just... sad :D

I first watched VS Lamune & 40 Fire on TV. I later downloaded the whole set on raw and found subtitles elsewhere. The quality was great, definitely not VHS quality, I think it was probably LD rips (LD at the time was still somewhat popular in Japan).

Hmm, maybe there ARE actual LD-rips somewhere too? Who knows. The rip I have is most certainly VHS. My guess is, someone made VHS-rips out of those LDs and then Onionwhatever subbed it... Well. no point speculating it. :D

Thanks for this, but on the VS album called 'Fresh Fresh Fresh' there are no track names, catalogue number or any other means of identification. I can't even find any sign of the album on VGMDb or via Google, so I have no idea what the songs are, or anything about them? Can you enlighten us, otherwise the album is a total loss.

? What. Fresh^3 most certainly has tags, thus it has "track names". Catalogue no is: King Records, KICA 383/4 and the main composer is Imaizumi Hiroshi. I know these because I am holding the actual album in my hands right now. :D I bought it from Japanese Amazon, and it was the last one. Also, the scans have some NSFW material, so I haven't decided what to do with them yet. After all, the whole OVA is borderline-H... But the music is GOOD!
