Resident Evil 2. Yes, for a young me this was a great educational game. That shooting zombies can be fun and you wont get sued or anything. I then went on a national zombie hunt

I had a Bucky O'Hare handheld game that I used to play all the time. I can't remember exactly what it was, I think it was just like a 2D platform game with bosses at the end of the level.
When I first got a Playstation I had a lot of Disney platform games that I used to play before I picked up a copy of FF7 and began to vary my tastes.

Duck Hunt was on the nes.
Most of us are still in our childhood, but for the record I'll say Duke Nukem 3D.

Sonic 2, the Revenge of Shinobi, or Civilization |. =)
I had experience with other games before that, but the MD was the first console I owned, and I completely adored Sonic 2 and Shinobi. Civ was probably the only PC game I played when we got a computer, around the time I was 7.

Discworld was the first game I played. Also, the Return to Zork series on PC. I doubt anyone has heard of that game though. It's ancient.

I have heard of Return to Zork, but not played it. I have played the earlier text-based ones, though, because they're really easy to get a hold of and pretty fucking spiffy.

Oh, yes. I used to have those. They were interesting. Zork Nemesis scared the shit out of me when I was younger, though.

Venture and Smurfs for the Colecovision. When I first got into gaming the Colecovision was the only console I had for a few years and I never did beat Venture. Whenever I play that smurfs game now I think the creator had to have been manic depresive.

Colecovision was the console that competed with the Atari, but the Colecovision was better even if it did have very funky controllers.
That's a Colecovision.

Haha a friend of mine had a ColecoVision, we used to play some voleyball game (mostly) and other sports games all the time on it, it was freaking awesome. Duck Hunt is also an favorite but I think my all time childhood favorite would be... Double Dragon series and Streets of Rage series. I had so much fun playing those with friends it's unimaginable. Als Golden Axe if anyone remembers that one, it wasn't as good but still a hell of alot fun.
