so..... it did not even take one day since my own recording of this loop which i shared on another community appeared here... and of course without my name mentioned as source... which i would be okay with... but im not okay with reposting my flac encoded file as low quality spliced up mp3s. Because there are enough low-quality bullshit files with Disney Theme Park music floating around right here, and i HATE.... repeat: HATE downloading files and finally recognizing these are only low-quality versions of stuff existing in higher quality (or i recorded myself in the park)

I might mention: i have nothing to do with the problems Mr. Gold encountered with this upload on mega, and im grateful for shares he and others did here. But i would REALLY appreciate if there was more conscience to keep the chaos smaller by not doing re-encodings, splicings or countless new collections without mentioning the original sources. As long as there isnt at least some kind of "organizing ethic" i will keep other stuff from the corners of new fantasyland for myself.

them to be cared for - I understand that completely. What irritates me is that you took the issue to

You could have posted your Flac version instead. And then we all together could've done

But if you read again my original post, bison, you�ll find no word about "taking it down". The issue i have with these kind of reposts doesn�t only apply to your post but to a lot of posts on this thread. So this is nothing i �d like to address in a private message but in a public one.

Besides that: If private messaging is so popular than why didn�t anyone ask me to share my collection or any other stuff around here? Shouldn�t be so hard since my username is the same as on mb.

But the fact that anyone did ever do this in the past shows me that a lot of posters do not really have a thought about these kind of quality-and-chaos issues. And THIS is in IMHO the reason, why threads like this get "trashed down" quickly.

Mr. Gold apologised via pm, apology of course accepted. The thing i don�t like are those needless remasterings, re-editings, re-collectings, incorrect re-namings etc. Everyone can do that on their private hard drives. But please share the originals or at least document the sources/changes. For any real collector this would keep the chaos down!!

You know... Folks like me spend hours in over-crowded restrooms to get a decent recording of this music. They don�t want to hear it in even more "shitty" quality anywhere.

Thanks for responding further. I should make clear that Mr. Gold PM'd me and asked me to take down the link out of respect for your concerns - I didn't take it down out of spite. In fact, I appreciate you sharing the link to the item you created. Update: It just occurred to me - I did make a reference within the OP that the request taken down by "File Owner". I shouldn't have referenced it in that manner - I was referring to Mr. Gold but I can see now given this situation as to how that could be confusing. I've removed that reference.

Barbara Cook is no different - she seems to be in a constant "Happy State" which clashes
with the tone of some of these songs - Pink Elephants is a good example of what I'm talking about. It's spectacular!

It sounds to me like a bunch of coffee house bands got together and recorded some Disney fare.

In 1969, this Disneyland Records Storyteller album was released to commemorate the opening of Haunted Mansion. Intended as a simple promotional album, this recording has become a cherished childhood memory for many Disneyland guests. The Story and Song from The Haunted Mansion includes original scenes and effects that never made it in the final attraction as it follows the story of two teenagers (voiced by Robie Lester and a young Ron Howard) who take refuge inside the eerie mansion during a mysterious rainstorm.

Here is my rip of the 2009 remastered/re-release of the classic LP The Story and Song from The Haunted Mansion, from my own physical copy. I also included the original artwork by Collin Campbell from the storybook that came with the CD as well. If anyone has scans of the CD set, let me know. Can't find them anywhere.

I got this album a few years ago - it was a free download on a site I stumbled across.
It sounds to me like a bunch of coffee house bands got together and recorded some Disney fare.
While there are some tracks here that I'm not fond of, there are others that I think are really good renditions.

Since Mr. Gold has decided to bust out the classics, I figured I would follow suit.
For those of you who have never heard of Condorman, this was Disney's foray into James Bond territory ...
...not only that, but it was their first foray into comic books as well ... I didn't see Condorman in any of the Civil War ads though.
After the movie Black Hole, this was my second favorite live action movie Disney released when I was a kid.
My third is The Cat From Outer Space - if anyone has anything closely resembling a soundtrack I would be so incredibly grateful!

I have to say in lorddsp's defence that he has always thanked me and others for what they have uploaded. He has shared his albums too, not only Disney music. The other day he sent me a nice PM and he has given me reputation points too. I had decided to ignore posts that would create drama, since it caused other threads to die, but just this time typing this comment was the right thing to do.

Please let's have fun together despite our differences. I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. I want to have friends who have the same passion I have. Thank you everyone for everything!!!
