All of these Soundtrack Factory have about 75 minutes, I think the tracks 24 to 27 are just a bonus to have their 78 minutes? It's some other title, I buy it because the sound is very good and especialy for the booklet :)

after listening to this a few personal impressions:

Ive had this idea of soundtrack factory as a terrible label when it comes to sound quality, I get they're a label that releases mostly bootlegs and that sort of thing but my experience with them has been usually frustrating. Not in this case, the sound gets an 8/10 from me, better than koch and ryko, and the music seems more alive thsan ever, partoicularly the mexican parts are stellar. the brasses and wind sections are powerful and distinctive. Frankly, this version kicks ass

All in all, this is my favourite maginificent seven release by a mile

I can't believe they're remaking it. :sigh:
It's already a remake of The Seven Samurai.

Really get in all the tunes before it gets obliterated from history with whomever's doing the remake.

I agree with you, I'm lazy to see all theses remake. Same as Exodus remake from the 10 Commandments, I'm not Watching the film until the end. And why making another Ben Hur , I am sure this one cannot be so beautiful as any remake. All is made now by Computer and actors play in front of a blue or green screen, it no longer makes sense! ):

Thank you for the link. I am a little confused, how do you know if something is 24 bit? When I look at the audio properties in Windows is shows this as 16bit.

The source has been remastered in 24bit, but the transfer to the CD is 16bit, it's not an hi res audio , but the source was an hi res audio.

To have 24bit it's should be an SACD or a digital release, CD is just 16bit as you know ;-)
