This is a 2016 chiptune collaboration album featuring several Japanese video game music artists. Some of them are rather well-known, such as Namco arcade composer Yuriko Keino and Ape Escape composer Omodaka. The catch: It was only released as an actual Famicom game cartridge. Thus, I am presenting it to you recorded from a real Famicom HVC-101 console. The audio has been edited extensively to clean up noticeable noise, but is otherwise exactly as it would sound on a real Famicom (as it is intended to be heard). I originally did this rip just for myself since I wanted to listen to it on the go, but I figured I could share it here too. :)

I highly recommend purchasing the original cartridge, if you can still find it. It features lots of awesome graphics and even a few mini-games. All the import sites I know of who carry this (Play-Asia, AmiAmi) have sold out of it by now, but there are some floating around eBay (for much more than it originally sold for, but that's eBay). I think Amazon.co.jp still has a few copies, if you know how to order from them.
