Note: I've been wanting to post this for quite some time but with the lack of time, I decided to save it for today. JediJon has already posted his "Stormhold Edition" but this edition is the one to have.
Not only is this edition mastered from higher quality sources than the current bootlegs going around, it also features a few cues not featured in the other bootlegs. It's STILL not complete since ONE cue remains MIA so this is as close as it seems that we we are going to get to a true complete.
As usual, I mixed shorter cues into longer ones for the best musical flow. I took a few months extra to finish any tweaks or sound adjustments that needed to be made before posting. As of this posting, I wouldn't expect any further modifications to be made. Sigh a collective breath of relief.
This has been a dream of mine since the film hit Bluray back in 2007/2008. This is a wickedly fun score from (at the time) newcomer Ilan Eshkeri and I'm so glad to finally be presenting this to you all today.
The entire "Lamia's Inn" cue is a highlight. Hearing Kilar's "Vampire Hunters" theme from Bram Stoker's Dracula with that much orchestral force behind it is breathtaking. I often listen to it over and over. Same with the "Through the Wall" portion of the Prologue cue. 2:40 and on sends chills down my spine.
Many years ago, I had attempted a Bluray rip of the score and got halfway through before the SFX just became too intrusive to the isolated experience. As a bonus, I included the one single cue that's still missing, albeit only available in a Bluray rip quality with SFX, just for complete sake.
ENJOY!
