I already have this. One of the best performances ever of these symphonies. Thank you for keeping them available to those who have yet to discover such treasures.

Wonderful! I love me some Szell. There is something delightful about the recordings they had for those symphonies. Many thanks!

In case you don't want to save these as range rips, make sure you use CueTools to do the splitting. I am splitting each of these because some things on my computer don't like range rips (one single file for each disc).

Would it be better in the future to simply upload everything in a cluster of FLAC files, one per track? That's how I store everything on my computer anyway, so it would be very simple to just "rar" it together and throw it into the upload bin.

Well that is the norm these days. The format you uploaded is how Classical music was posted for a while when it was the only thing people shared in FLAC and seems to be still posted that way for some reason. It originated when people wanted to burn a CD from the files. These days few people are doing that so it is normal to have each track individually split. It isn't that hard for people to split it with CueSplitter so no need to do anything differently for this one. But yes for future shares it might be easier for people if you had each album with one flac file per track, assuming you still had the proper cue sheet with it.

Glad you are not offended by my comment :) Some people take constructive criticism the wrong way. I'm very glad to add this to my favorite Beethoven Szell CDs.

Thanks for this share! I had a heard to check out the Solti/Chicago cycle but what I've heard and loved from Szell/Cleveland in Mahler should hopefully apply here.
