Love this score. Definitely one of Conti’s finest. As I already had the previous Concorde CD, I delayed purchasing the new Quartet version until very recently… and I discovered a couple of interesting things.

First, there’s an entire track missing from the Quartet version - the atmospheric suspense cue “Ship Of Fools” which appears intact on the Concorde CD.

Second, on the Quartet track “It’s All Right Malachi / Malachi’s Murder” (from 2:36 to end) there is a repeat of the Main Title (minus the first minute). This is rather weird, because it certainly isn’t repeated in the film, and it’s hard to see where it would fit even if it WAS repeated.

Even weirder, the same thing happens on the Concorde CD - the lengthy track “Conversations” is padded out with that repeat of the Main Title. Anyway, because it IS just a repeat, I have omitted it here, so the track “It's All Right Malachi / Malachi's Murder” now has a shorter running time.

I have added the missing track “Ship Of Fools.”
