I was just wondering what kinda of crazy materis combos you guys used in FF7,and how well they worked. I was bored and wanted to try out some new combos if you guys dont mind sharing your secrets!lol.

Yes..Final Attack/Revive or something like that. It just made you never die. YOu like came back to life. Mine was mastered so I cane back 5 times. Lol.

all-*any spell*
dblow- mega all
any summon hp/mp absorb
2xcut hp absorb
summon/magic mp boost

thy're not nething too special, but thats basically how mine was.

Quadra Magic-Ultima, MP Turbo-Ultima, MP Absorb-Ultima, HP Absorb-Ultima, Added Cut-Ultima, Added Steal-Ultima, Magic Counter-Ultima, W-Magic, Magic Plus, this is the most interesting one I can think of that I ever used.

Final Attack/Phoenix and Final Attack/KOTR at the same time. You resurrect and hit back hard.

the real challenge is to get all master materia for all ur pplz.... meaning master summon, master command, and master magic with either all or mega all, and like... mp absorb and hp abord on ur master things....

I have all 3 master materia. If you put a master summon and final attack together think of what you could do.

no, i don't have a gold chocobo yet, so i can't get KOTR *i think its on the lil island thats only accesable with a gold chocobo* but i mastered all the useful materia. i don't ahve mime mastered *i ahve it on 3 stars thoguh!!* and i don't like hp<-->mp.....i think that one is a waste of HP. i mean if it made ur defence like 500% more, then maybe it'd be better.

I got mastered materia for all three my ppl. It is not even fun to play anymore. Everyone rapes everything. Even Cait Sith can beat Ruby 1 on 1.

The craziest materia combo was counter - chocobo lure ( I wanted to see if I could call a chocobo to help with the battle) I don't really need to say that it didn't work :laugh:

i have a question.
i read somewhere that the Counter materia did not work with the Double Cut materia (dammit!), so i tried it with the Slash-all materia and it doesn't seem to work either.
my question is : is something wrong with my game (its a PC version that bugs from times to times) or is just the Counter materia (close to) useless? the best Counter combo i can figure without using Double cut or Slash-all is Deathblow and it sucks...

Dragoncurry is right, the game totally loses all meaning and sense of entertainment when you have master materia for all three characters.

And that putting-everything-with-different-copies-of-ultima idea is really interesting; I think I want to try that some time.

i beat the water weapon using a couple mimes with mp absorb attached to knights

this was my fav magic system btw....spheres blow, junctions blow, etc. blows

The sphere system is great.

The materia system was also great but is extremely limited in what it can do when you've hammered the game for a hundred hours or so, with a handful of those inside the Norther Cavern picking up AP. The game is essentially too simple, all it requires is patience.
