Well, iTunes's AAC are mastered just for iTunes and it's, like I've been told, "virtually" lossless.

There's a lot of anticipation with this score, it must be good.

I Have No Idea, lol i have not finished 1 to 3. A couple of people have suggested these to me so i am trying thme.

I have only seen the first two movies.

Yes, but they do it so when they release these collectors edition ones, people think more each time.

A lot of people would really appreciate it if users who upload 128k spotify rips upconverted to 320k would mark them as such, so that downloaders know what they're getting. Of course i am in no position to tell anyone who takes the time to share what they should do with their files, but it's quite frustrating to have these unmarked 128k rips floating around. I'm grateful that you let us listen to the score so early but I wish I would have known what I was getting myself into when I started listening to the album. At least with this one we know the itunes release will be coming within 24 hours, but with a lot of more obscure scores, the only share that ever gets done is a 128k spotify rip, and these files find their way into p2p soundtrack sharing communities and become difficult to distinguish from a genuine 320k release, which is bad for the whole soundtrack sharing community, and bad for the composers and the industry too, because less perceptive listeners who download those files might just assume that the album was recorded poorly, and will then be less likely to buy the release.

So please mark 128k upconverts, everyone. I beg you. :)

I assume the fiddle source cue is not written by JNH, also the score release is already packed (I think it's the longest release of all the films).

Funny, as that scene played out I sat there thinking "God, I hope this isn't on the OST. That'd be a waste". I want actual JNH score. Not some fiddle piece I can hear on YouTube lol.

There's a fiddle player listed as a additional composer (besides Sven Falcouner), I assume he wrote the source music for Finnick and Annie's wedding.

Assuming this is a complete score since it seems to be the final music mix. The drums were most likely a last-minute foley.

The real spoiler would have been if they put who else dies in the movie, although Lionsgate did a good job doing that with the trailers which spoiled most of the movie (unlike the first one, where they barely put anything from the games).

I never read the books and nothing was ever spoiled for me. All the twists and shocks came naturally. It was great. And I'm all about the trailers, so they didn't spoil anything.

The complete score features the score as it is, but somehow includes the drums. So either they were re-recorded during the score recording, or they were mixed into the music track by the music editors. The Complete Score is Pro-Tools based, mastered, and in 96/24 for what is available for download (but it's obviously been mastered at a much higher bit-rate and frequency). It might be a 2.0 sound track master or something.

It is, but it's mostly a mix, not necessarily stems (at least for the orchestral parts).

Any help?
