There are threads featuring the soundtrack to the first game here, but I don’t know if they’re still online. Try the "search" function 😉 I’ll upload the first one eventually, when I’m back from work.

Okay, so I gave this album a spin and noticed that some of the tracks are cut rather abruptly. It’s like they couldn’t be bothered to loop them or something. Dissapointing to see such sloppy work in a commercial release.

Yes, that’s what bothering me about this release. The first game had an official 2-disc soundtrack available, but for the second, they decided to go the digital way in form of "bundled with the game", which is quite a shame, because a lot of tracks have potential. Masaharu Iwata’s two tracks have 9 and 37 seconds of playtime, I mean – what’s that supposed to be!?
I sampled some of my favorite tracks above. Mitsuda is a real genius once again. His battle themes normally aren’t that strong, but I love this one. And Hirota’s violin work on track 25 is simply amazing…
