One of Osamu Shoji's original albums was posted here, so I thought I'd do the same with a particular artist.

The same person who composed, arranged, and performed the music for the Lensman movie and the Lily C.A.T. OVA (Akira Inoue) has a ton of original albums that he made, but most of them have yet to be uploaded to the internet.

I'd like to upload one of his albums, my CD copy of the SPLASH 2013 Limited Edition album.



Includes 3 extra tracks not included in the original vinyl edition of this album, and some scans I made.

There's also another Akira Inoue album I have that you might like, but it's not my rip. It came from a website that just shut down recently and idk who the original ripper is...

I've also ordered Akira Inoue's CRYPTOGRAM album on vinyl. I've only listened to one of the songs from the album but I'm sure it'll be just as enjoyable as the others :)

Out of curiosity do you have the Star Wars synthesizer remix album he made? It was uploaded to YT before but it got taken down and the current copies available of it on the internet are too pricey for me to buy atm.

Just an update I wanted to give out since it's been a while since I lasted posted on this thread.

I got one of Akira Inoue's original albums a month ago, but due to distractions and other busy stuff I never ripped it. I'll probably be working on it soon, though.

What I can guarantee is that there's an Akira Inoue movie OST I'm currently editing that I'll post here; since it's an OST for a live-action movie, however, I'll also be posting it in the Film music section thread once I'm done with it.

Marty Balin (one of the founders of Jefferson Starship) recorded and released an LP single consisting of 4 songs that
were released in Japan only in 1983. Out of those 4 songs, only the first one was released on CD as part of a Marty
Balin compilation.

I know it seems weird that I'm posting an album like this here, but among the many Japanese musicians that worked
with Marty Balin on this was Akira Inoue, who arranged and produced the music in this album (the keyboards in these
songs were also done by him).

If this album still doesn't belong here, I can remove it if needed.
