sparktank closed my ant-man thread, after i removed the info on it and all my other threads.
he also started a little rambling (
http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/ant-man-2015-christophe-beck-mp3-191713/5.html#post3019032) of possible scenarios on why i removed it. unfortunately for
him he was absolutely wrong for the reason everything was removed by me.
this has nothing to do with the community, possible letters from labels or personal reasons.
the simple reason was a 5th take down-notice on my mega account. mega decided then it
was enough and simply killed the account, including all shares. since i don't really like going
to repost everything, as it simply way too much. i also did not want people to click on links
that no longer work, i removed them.
that's the reason.
i opened a new account and started fresh with a new share, m:i 5 rogue nation (
Thread 192225), and will continue
sharing :)

you know you could post that in thread instead of removing information and links.
we've seen so many here just up and quit their sharing.
having time to nullify your first post is enough time to say you're making a new Mega account.
If you want your ant-man thread re-opened, you can PM me.
---------- Post added at 07:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:24 PM ----------
I also notice you just post everything about anyone rather than PM'ing about matters.
You one-shot what you can and then leave it.
Even when asked, you do nothing.
You don't seem very cooperative.

In the future, maybe you should randomize the names of your compressed files and password-protect them.

Sorry to hear it, fucking sucks when that happens, but.....
In the future, maybe you should randomize the names of your compressed files and password-protect them.
Works for me, not so much as a single deleted Link in 2 years.

That's what I like about Mediafire. I've got all of my shares with the name of Movie/Videogame Title (Artist) and not a single one has been removed.
I assume they don't scan .rar or .zip files.

i usually do that. but if someone from a label/studio/composer comes here, they have access to the link. so this will never prevent a take down. it just makes it bit harder for them if they look for public links that you can find with google.

Neither PM-sharing is all that safe: copyright holders or whoever acts in their interest can very well pose as your "standard Internet pirate(s)", earn the required user-privileges, get the link from "you" and go about reporting it.
I think one of the best things that you could do is hand out links to folks you "trust" and hope they won't randomly turn into dickheads which go and post the links publicly somewhere else.

There is also this to consider now:
Kim Dotcom says his own Mega cloud storage service isn?t safe anymore | News | Geek.com (
http://www.geek.com/news/kim-dotcom-says-his-own-mega-cloud-storage-service-isnt-safe-anymore-1629958/)
" It’s all very confusing. One thing’s for sure, though. Dotcom is no longer involved in the running of Mega. Mega issued a statement denying his accusations and says he hasn’t been officially involved since late 2013. Dotcom responded by promising proof next week. He’s also planning to launch a free and open source competing service next year, which he sees operating like Wikipedia on donations. So if you like drama, stay tuned next week. "
Saw'r it just this morning on facebook.

That Is Why I Decided My Mentalist And Ressurection Threads Where My Last In Downloads. I Am Sick of People Moaning About Quality Ect So When The Links Die They Die. There Are More Than Enough People Who Can Re-Up Or Post The Better Quality. :p

Ouch, sad to see that. Simply ignore those folks and keep doing things the way you're more comfortable with, nobody is forced to change his/her approach to sharing as long as board's rules aren't broken.

last notice i received was for the end of the tour by danny elfman. then a few days later account goes boom.
the only real big one i posted was rogue nation and pocahontas legacy , but i don't think they were the problem.
at the end it doesn't matter what share was the cause, account is possibly gone :(

MEGA isn't exactly the best host to use without some kind of link-protector/anonymizer (even more so around here, FFS does get a fair amount of DMCA takedown requests); also, you might want to read this tidbit about how MEGA handles Requests for removal of content (coming from their blog entry #35, Transparency Report - March 2015):
Requests for Removal of Content
Mega accepts takedown notices via a dedicated web page or by email to
[email protected]
Requests are processed within a few hours without reviewing their validity.
The submitter is able to choose
1. Disable one link per file - the file will remain in the user's account;
2. Disable multiple URLs per file - the file will remain in the user's account;
3. Remove all underlying files of the supplied URL(s) - there is no user permitted to store this under any circumstance worldwide.
