I guess it is hard to ask, but out of FF7, FF8, FF9, and now FF10, who was the best hero? I personally think Cloud and Squal were flakes. Zidane and Tidus had a lot more class. Squal and Zidane had the hotter chicks, and Cloud and Squal could do summons... I personally think Zidane was the most all in all hero.
Who would have been your favorite hero?

i'd have to say zidane was the most heroic of the lot. cloud and squall came good towards the end, and i cant comment on tidus cause i havent played ffx yet.(C'MON AUSSIE RETAILERS RELEASE IT ALREADY!!!!!!!!) also i think zidane is the most powerful of the lot as well.

I would say Zidane, since he doesn't need a reason to help somebody ;) and he seems the most noble of them all, but I don't like Zidane as a character...so I would have to go for Terra =D
(you ppl shouldn't really neglect the old FF's ) or maybe Cloud since he won't get of that train untill it's over.. and goes.. BOOM

Well, for me is Tidus, he is very funny, I like Humor;)

i like Zidane the best coz he is the bravest coz he went back into the lifa tree on his own to save kuja. this was superb

I haven't played much of FF10, but out nof the rest, I'd say Squall. He was stupid at the start but as you got to know him, he was the best.

I've always thought that Cloud was the best lead character of the Playstation Final Fantasy series. He was a man who wasn't positively sure on his identity. He was plagued by a voice, didn't know how he got to Midgar, and ended up living in a world his mind created by making himself a member of SOLDIER.

As the game progresses, you see Cloud manipulated by Sephiroth, and he causes the summonning of Meteor (by handing the Black Materia to Sephiroth.) He then overcomes his troubles, finds his true identity and is able to confront his past and destroy Sephiroth, and save the world.

Well, that's why I think he's so cool anyway.

i think squall and cloud were jerks with chips on their shoulders, especially squall. the guy has two hot girls after him (quistis and rinoa) and all he can say is "leave me alone" and "...." i found myself screaming at him "dude, she wants you, dammit!" many times. one of the reasons i never could finish ff8.

cloud is tolerable, though he has his jerky moments too.

zidane... well i never finished ff9, but the whole womanizing thief thing has been done before (see locke, ff6. ok, i know locke wasn't the MAIN character, but he was probably the principle male character). i wasn't all that impressed with zidane. besides, i kept confusing him with the french footballer of the same name (special attack: swerving volley shot).

tidus has kind of grown on me. at the beginning he's sort of a whiny wuss-boy, but as the game progresses and he starts to discover himself and the world around him, he becomes much more likeable.

but really, i only play ff's for those computer-animated pixel girls. ;) rikku.... lulu.... garnet....tifa... rinoa... and did i say rikku? :D

Zidane i thought was the best and he was kinda funny sometimes

I like Cloud better than the rest... eventhough my favorite hero of all time would have to be Locke from FFVI. Cloud's cool, though. Maybe I'm just biased because I played FFVII first, but I happen to like Cloud a lot better than Squall and Zidane. I never really liked Squall, and Zidane looked like a kid.

Butz. he had a stupid name but he was definately most heroic. he went through 3 ends of teh world to help ppl.

my Favorite hero through the games would have to be zidane. allthough i did like cloud but its been about 4 years since i played final fantasy 7 (and i really need to play it again) squall was just an annoying little B***ard who i wish was killed by seifer. infact i had fun letting myself being beaten when i had squall in my group. and i havent played ff10 yet but i expect i will like tidus. but zidane was funny strong so he is definatly my favorite.

why only those four games? well, if I gotta pick from that lot I'm going with Cloud, but not cloud from FF7, cloud from FFT, you gotta respect a guy who is fighting against level 50 people when he's at level 1.

Definitely Zidane because he risked his life to try to save Kuja who had previously tried to kill him and everyone that he holds dear.

def zidane, i mean uhh me..yea...he not only saved the world, he went back and tried to save the enemy!!!!! he also helped every character through the toughest times, like vivi when he was unsure of being human and freya with sir fratley.....he is the best!!!!

I think Cloud was the best especially when he did that this abaout throwing Sephiroth away even though he had a 8ft katana through his body. Plus his hair is pretty cool, I have decided to have it like that but also dye it red (a decent red) actually more like the Thom Yorkes' hair in the US version of High & Dry. But anyway Cloud is the best and hes a great fighter.
So he'll have to be my fav.

I would say Squall was most improved hero. Zidane was best leader. Cecil was also a great leader. Tidus was just Tidus. I love the character but they were all heros to me in that game. And best hero goes to...

Cloud. The man carrys a big sword and drives a motorcycle. Snowboards like there is no tomorrow, and whips major arse with a nice 15 hit move. He actually has an arch rival that he fights at the end unlike some FF heros and well, he has Tifa.

Now if that isnt a hero I dont know what is.

I like Squall the most. He was a bit of a sonch in the start, but he came right at the end. Cloud was a bit of a goose because he couldn't remember jack****. Zidane was just a girly looking kid
