FFXIV Heavensward Game Rip

Ok, so this is my hastily thrown together rip of the Heavensward music. It is by no means as clean as my other rips (and those had issues too). Misspellings? Yes. Duplicates? Probably. quality? 192kbps vbr, so kinda crap (although the source ogg files are only 128kbps. its my understanding That ogg files are higher quality per bit, but I could be mistaken there too. I just hit for a middle ground based on my own knowledge (which may be flawed). Also some of my track names might have light spoilers, so there is that too. But I made this for me, and since nobody else has shared I figured I would. So here is the music!

11/9/2015: UPDATED TO ADD 3.1 MUSIC (Sidenote: Tags are based on internal data file names, and may not be 100% accurate. Ill update it with the non battle layer of Void Ark (Need to hear which channels play outside of battle so I know what channel to cut!) and make any naming corrections once I can verify exactly how its all used in game! Also, said void ark track has been edited in Audacity to mute the transition crashes, and I had to rejoin 2 of the layers into stereo (was a 6 channel ogg, but NOT separated into 5.1 surround. The channels are split to allow the game to transition from non battle to battle music seamlessly). This was my first time doing this, so if you see any errors with this track just let me know and I’ll work on fixing it.

One final sidenote. I will not be leaving these files online for much longer, so I would like to ask SOMEONE out there to mirror these uploads and create a separate thread. Do not give me credit for the rips either! So yeah, get it while you can!!

TY OP! As a current Player in FF 14 (Level 57 atm), all of your music / OST that is in that file is 100% accurate with no Duplicates, no errors. Every song is exactly the order your character enters as you level up. Quality is exactly how it sounds In-game as well. AWesome job

I’m glad to hear that, I did it all off memory of my own trip to 60 and I kinda sped past a few parts so I wasn’t sure if I had the order totally correct or not! since i don’t have many people to discuss it with right now, what are your favorites on this rip? I don’t think there is a single new song in Heavensward that isn’t REALLY good, but I’m especially drawn to all 4 Ishgard themes, sea of Clouds Daytime, Dravanian Forelands day (3:57 is GODLY), the music in Sohm Al, the Flying Mount Theme (This one gets to me for some reason, its SO GOOD), The Great Gubal Library, Azys Lla, and that final boss theme. But I have to say, that music in Alexander is so far beyond ANYTHING I would have ever imagined. It’s much closer to Soken’s natural style though, so it’s fitting! The Alex boss theme might be one of my all time favorites in the game!

This….is NOT what I expected. It’s both Alex Gordias themes combined (lyrics wise) in a big band rock…..style thing. It’s RADICALLY different but I LOVE it!

Woooow. The way the "Locus" part takes off is incredible.

Honestly not at all what I was expecting. Can’t say it’s a "Rise of the White Raven" but they’re not really comparable in tone or anything; this is some great shit. Really, really excited to see how it goes in hand with the visuals.
