The Complete Let It Go is the one that has all of the international versions of the song, right? I'd actually be interested in that, I came across a bunch of International Versions of Tangled a while back and they were really fun.

I wasn't complaining, so please don't take it that way just sharing the information. You source copy might be the issue. you can download Spek for free here: Spek ? Free Acoustic Spectrum Analyzer / Spectrogram Viewer (http://spek.cc/) it's multi platform if you wish to play around with it. Here is the same music track taken from the 1991 Official album ripped at 320 for a comparison.

Yes, looks the same as the first post. I have never used Windows Media player to rip a CD and that may be the issue. itunes works fine for ripping and it's free but you will need to change the settings for high quality to rip as 320. Here is a web page that tells you how to change the default settings if you wanted to try. Make iTunes Import CD Tracks as High Quality MP3 (http://www.groovypost.com/howto/rip-high-quality-mp3-itunes/)

Sometimes the actual source, if it being official can have really bad quality track on it. It just might mean that track wasn't in good quality when the album was made. I was going through the Disneyland Forever Project and downloaded the FLAC files and saw that a few of the tracks were in really bad quality when run through Spek. This is probably cause the original source material is really old and not in great condition.

I have that Swanee River track on my 2005 Official Album of Disneyland and the track seems to be pretty high quality. I just think it could either be Windows Media Player or that the actual track on the disk was bad quality. Probably be good to just encode it using iTunes. For me I would probably use Exact Audio Copy.

I've ripped music into V0 VBR and sometimes it's not much difference between a 320kbps CBR but when you look at Spek you can tell the difference.

Yes, before you go crazy ripping you should always, always rip lossless (FLAC) or as an AIFF/WAV file. You can always downconvert it to mp3 320 later. If you're ripping the actual CD there's no reason not to rip it that way. EAC like tdmagic recommended is great! Anyone tempted to rip at 320 or 192 mp3, don't. Rip and share here in FLAC. Anyone can downcovert it to 320 or 192 mp3 if they choose. As you go down from Lossless to 320 to mp3 to 192 you are loosing quality. 320 isn't as much lost but 192 is bad. Avoid at all costs. Don't try to upconvert from 192 to 320 to Lossless. It doesn't work that way and you can always tell that was done.

Disney is going to be aggressively seeking out any websites that post any of the audio from its upcoming Silly Symphony collection, and have them shut down. Well why do you have an issue with FLAC? If you don't mind us asking. It does seem rather silly to have an issue with people requesting it. ALAC is fine, still lossless. People are increasingly wanting lossless. You don't seem to care for that a whole lot. It makes sense that when people ask for a copy of a sound track from CD to want an exact copy of it and not a compressed, lossy version of it. It's not much to ask. Same for vinyl rips, it's not much to ask for a lossless version. If people want to compress it later they can. It's perfectly fair asking for a lossless version. If it was released on CD, there should be a lossless version of it. One always exists for that. I understand if something isn't able to available in lossless or is only available in lossy. In those cases it can't hurt to put a disclaimer "Lossless version does not exists" so people don't ask for what isn't available.

As I Said I Up What I have, Those Who Have Physical CDS Can Mirror To Lossless I Always Said This, I Am Okay With It. Nothing Wrong With A FLAC & MP3 That Way Either Prefrence Is Covered.

I feel for you and understand. I agree that posting both is ideal so that everyone is happy. Perhaps if we work together (one person provide the MP3 and someone else provides the FLAC version, all bases are covered. I don't see anything unreasonable about asking for a FLAC version of something that's already been posted. It can be edited into the original post. It's not that they don't care it's that they care so much they want the best they can get. That said I appreciate and understand that you collect sources from all over that are in various formats. In fact some of the things here we never knew there was a rip of. You sharing that basic knowledge with us is enough, even if we'd like a lossless version of it.

The only thing unacceptable is your entitled attitude. That you think asking someone in the manner which you have is not too much proves it. Keep in mind, THEY ARE THE ONE UPLOADING. You can ask but don't expect them to be subservient to YOUR needs. You seem to be under the misconception that uploaders should follow a standard or that you have the right to aggressively ask them to follow your standards. You are in no position to demand or claim that others HAVE to upload only in FLAC because it's the gold standard. I'll upload something in 96kbps if it so pleases me. It's my upload, my time spent, and if you want higher, you either beg politely (especially without whining about why people don't upload in lossless to begin with), find one elsewhere that suits your needs, or do it yourself (i.e. to the person who PM'ed me asking for lossless, good luck finding a lossless version of source audio for the music to the Diamond Celebration Disneyland Forever fireworks show, I know the some of the cast members in the audio dept at DL and I had to get my rip elsewhere). Who would want to go above and beyond to appease a little ungrateful shit like you? It's irrelevant to everything lol, it could take days for all we care, just upload using MEGASync or something similar with upload resume so you don't have to do it all in one go, and limit the upload speed so it doesn't interfere with your normal Internet usage. Unless you have limited bandwidth. Then it would totally matter.

Well....I have it....SADC directly ripped from the HD tracks of the blu-ray 3D ultimate directors cut fanmade Japan limited and numbered collectors edition which came together with a working model of the Disneyland Monorail only available in Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Hong Kong, Disneyland Tokyo and only at Mondays and by full moon for people who stands in line for at least 9 hours.

Sorry to say, none of that is source or even 320 kbps as the metadata says. Sounds like low-quality inductions. Please don't try to pass off tracks as something they're way too obviously not.

It is source audio. You're more than welcome to try to find a better rip. And if you've been to Disneyland, you'll realize even their audio isn't quite high quality.

My concern isn't audio quality. My concern is passing something off as something it isn't.

The bootlegged material has gone through multiple iterations over the years and I for one, am just glad it exists at all. Most of the old park recordings were hardly sonic achievements to begin with. For film scores, different story of course. But with most of the Disney Park stuff, we work with what we have. If you don't like it, delete it from your collection. It's comments like this that encouraged some great users Merida just mentioned to go elsewhere.
