I have created this thread to help people who are having trouble with any of the Seymours. If you have anything to add, please do.

First, let's start with the basics. Each battle has a key ability you need in order to obtain victory. In each of the individual explanations, I will tell you what they are. Also, every Seymour casts magic. So defending against it will help you.

#1:Maester Seymour

Key Ability:NulMagic (Yuna)

This is the first Seymour you fight. He has two Guards that fight alongside him. They are a little difficult due to the fact that they heal themselves every time you strike them. You can stop them from healing. Simply have Rikku steal from them and they won't heal anymore. Have Yuna in your party the whole time. Have her cast NulBlaze, NulFrost, NulShock, and NulTide in the order that Seymour casts his spells. (You will find that info in the help window at the top of the screen when you select him.) Once you have cast all four NulSpells, get Yuna into Overdrive. Kill off the Guado Guardians. After you have done this, Seymour will summon Anima. Grand Summon your newest aeon, Shiva (displayed as ?????). Use her overdrive, Diomand Dust. Keep using your aeons to defeat him. Watch out for Oblivion (Anima's Overdirve), it inflicts critical damage. After this, it's back to fighting Seymour. Now he casts the Multi-Spells. Just keep using NulMagic until you defeat him.

#2:Seymour Natus

Key Ability:Reflect (Yuna)

This is the easiest of all the Seymours. Simply cast reflect on the entire party and Seymour. He will beat himself up! All spells he casts at you will be reflected on him. All healing magic the Mortibody casts on him will bounce back at you. Cast hurtful spells at yourself so they will hit him. Cast healing spells at him so they will heal you. It takes less than a minute for him to die.
WARNING:Without reflect, this Seymour will be very difficult. Only experienced players will be able to defeat him. Therefore, Reflect is required.

#3:Semour Flux

Key Ability:Hastega (Tidus)

This is the most difficult Seymour. You must be extremely fast in order to defeat him. Have every single person and Aeon in Overdrive. Kill him before he uses Total Anhilation.

#4:Seymour Omnis

Key Ability:NulSpells (Yuna)

Use the same strategy as the first Seymour. Do not use Reflect because it will only heal him. Cast the element that is pointing to him on the large circles. This is the last Seymour.

Remember, if you have any additional information, please put it in this thread. Thank you!

Also, if you have any questions, please post them in this thread and I or another member will answer it for you.

Discussion is also welcome. =)

Don't double post

So you made a thread to help people beat Seymour. Very nice. Only problem is that it's going to be gone from the front page fairly quickly. At that point, it'll be just as useless as the myriad similar threads that have come and gone before it.

P.S. Don't double post.

ur just a naturally mean person aren't you Prak

Yes, I'm a horribly mean person. At least, compared to people who live in Happyland, where there's always a rainbow in the sky and a carebear with loose morals on the street corner.

For those who live in the real world, I tend to come off as sarcastic and somewhat sardonic, but generally good-natured.

who are you referring to as to living in happy land

I didn't name anyone in particular. Why do you ask? Did I hit a nerve?

Yes, I'm a horribly mean person.

Oh yes, a terribly mean person. Sadistic, mean, horrible, cruel, sarcastic, evil....... ah, did I forget anything?

He's no different from alot of people in the Shrine. Not saying that everyone's like that. Most people are pretty nice.

I'm only going to say this once:

Most of the people who think Prak is mean are totally judging him the wrong way. When he is 'bashing' or 'being mean' about someone or something, it's almost always the truth. It's just that not enough people are brave enough to admit honesty sometimes, so that leads to a bunch of 'nice' comments just to give people the impression that you are a nice guy/girl.

Prak is a great guy, it's just that he tells it like it is.

Well, since we're being honest, I believe that people should voice their opinion, but in a kind way. Not say that someone's full of crap or something like that. (Not talking about any of you...this happened in another forum.) =)

There is an easier way :) Have Rikku steal from both the Guado Guards and they won't be able to heal. Then kill them off and when you have attacked Seymour enough, and he Summons Anima, THATS when you should bring in Shiva. It's easier :)

When you face seymour for the second time, isn't his little pet or whatever it is, doing an attack that does dispel on all your character? I had reflect on every character. but he did desperado all the time and dispelled my reflect. But I found him to be pretty easy anyway.

One_Winged_Angel

Yes but you can cast reflect again.

I thought that Natus was very easy. I used bahamut's overdrive and then Ifrit's. After that, just some normal attacks from Auron and he died. Well then again I guess he didn't "die" because he is already dead, so I guess he just went away. :-(
