This is a pretty good compilation by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra with most of the great western themes. There are omissions but then again the topic is so vast that it'd easily filled 5 or 6 CDs. Victor Young for one is not present, and thats a big absence. The ones present though, are all good to excellent scores.

I want to thank all the uploaders and commenters for making this the great community that it is. Ive only recently become active and I can see Ive missed a lot. The generosity is what I most admire about this community. Ive been part of other big collector groups and one thing in common they had was, they werent so generous, quite the opposite, they were very protective of their "stuff", and they rarely talked about the music itself. It has been a refreshing change to see the opposite going on here, really knowledgeable people who want to share their "stuff" (starting to sound a bit porny this). Anyway thank god Im not going to win an oscar ever coz Im really bad at thanking people, enjoy the music
