thanks a lot. really like Brian Tyler's work, and have long been a fan of Danny Elfman's scores.

whedon does an amazing job in this sequel. the russo bros. surely have their hands full making sure Cap 3 Civil War will be better than AOU and its a good thing!

After two viewings, here's what I've got for the film order of the album. This is by no means definitive, and please add any suggestions or changes you see fit. Many of the album tracks never seem to appear in their entirety in the film, while others seem to be absent. This made the whole endeavor incredibly frustrating, especially when so much of Tyler's material is so generic that it's difficult to find differences between tracks. Some of the tracks not heard in the film still have track titles pointing to their sequential placement, so I've added them in with an * by the title. Anyway, here ya go:

- Heroes (seems to be a generic suite arrangement of Elfman's ideas for editors to pick and choose from for different scenes)


I haven't seen the film yet so PLEASE be a gentleman and spoiler tag if you're going to start discussing which of the tracks he can't place should go where...

So now you link to a completely different thread and provide proof that you've been working on it for a bit while longer? If you were a bit more comprehensive in your writing, then you could have said:
"Hey, can anyone help me with putting this soundtrack in chronological order? I've already tried to do it myself (see below) but I'm not really there yet." And then you show us what you've got already...
It's because of people like you who, respectfully, only write half of what they're thinking that misunderstandings like this happen... Might I suggest next time you tell the whole story and not just the epilogue?

Would you mind posting your updates here as well? The thing is that people who look exclusively for FLAC albums will probably overlook all of the work you're doing in the AAC/mp3 threads for Avengers 2 ;-)
And you seem to be coming around nicely, although personally I don't really understand why you'd use trailer music and alternate/unused cues in your 'chronological' list?

But it would be silly to ask because, as you put it indeed, they're not in the film, and therefore have no place in a 'chronological' score. Perhaps recording sessions or a complete score is a different matter.
