The album entitled ATLANTIS IN HIFI is in fact, the sound track score for the 1959 Columbia Picture, "Forbidden Island", which starred Jon Hall and featured spectacular (for the time) colour underwater cinematography. The hauntingly beautiful music score from the film by Hungarian composer Alexander Laszlo was marketed as an "Exotica" recording, and the music does indeed at times sound similar to a Les Baxter or Martin Denny recording. This album has been out of print for 50 years and is a very enjoyable listen.
