7 is lucky....I don't know. I think it's pretty cool.

I agree. It's all too much to absorb. Maybe they should have considered CC after they released DC...

i must say ff7 is one of my all time favorites it just seems to much three new games and a movie. Think about it.

The other games pretty much wrap everything up. 7 had a few looses ends ( just see the CloudxTifa/Aeris threads) also there wass more to explore with the Characters pasts ( Vincent and the turks, Cloud and Shinra etc...)

Yeah thats true, 8 and 9 both had an ending that resolved everything. wheras 7 didnt. plus i like the idea of a spin off of 7.7 was great so i am sure that all of them will be ok.

Alot of people say they like VII so and yeah it left alot of things up in the air, so why not add more things to tie up the loose ends, since people enjoyed it so much. Besides does it really matter if square enix does it or not we really don't have any control over it.

I'm starting to hate square, they're relying far too much on the FF name while seemingly forgeting about other quality titles.

And the entire idea of direct sequels to FF games never sat right with me. I thought FFVII was a great game but I am not looking forward at all to these spin-offs.

Same here. Advent Children is the only other ff7 theme that interests me in the slightest.

you actually have plenty of control over it. See tons of people buy VII and rant about it for years. Square goes, "hm, i bet we could make more money from this, lets make for VII stuff"

Probably because it was such a successful game and there hasnt been one like it since, so they are trying to remake one to see if it can overtake it, but i dont think anymore FFVII re-makes will be better then the original.

Agreed and I definitely think that the only great one is gonna be Advent Children. Although I do not think the others will be crap I just dont like phone games lo.

AC is the only one i'm intrerested in. Although the rumors about ff7 remake for the PS2 I like.

What I have heard about AC sounds nothing short of embarrassing. They should leave 7 where it belongs, in my memory with my rose tinted glasses. :-*
