I'm probably going to be revisiting and updating a few of my interstellar tracks to a higher resolution pretty soon now that we have much better audio sources for the sourced material. (some of the older edits were dependent on on lossy audio from the screener, back when that leaked, etc.)

Awesome release, thank you very much (mediafire links still work). Anyone knows, why some tracks on disc 2 & 3 are in 24bit/48 khz? Was there a real hd source or is it just to preserve the source quality as much as possible? I read all the thread but nobody was wondering about differing bit depth and sample rate... I never heard about the ISP Edition was released in high def, only the deluxe and standard edition.

maybe from bluray? because end credits etc. are taken from bluray source and deluxe edition OST is released in 24-bit/44.1kHz on web.

At first I asumed that, but f.e. the suites on disc 3 are not used in the movie a.f.a.i.k. and the digital high res web download (which I have as well) is in 24/44.1, and you never convert 44.1/88.2/176.4 and so on to 48/96/192 since you�ll get rounding errors which is not very good for the sound.
