Ok, im new to this forum but not to this problem :-(
Ok, im playing ffx-2 and I want to get 100% this time. I've beat it before but I want to see everything!
Here is my problem:
I am watching percentages and I am1% off.
At mushroom rock Rd. I cannot get 13% after all is said and done.
Ive got like 3 guides/faq's and nothing works!
I'm doing everything right....well, obviously not everyting but it seems that way.
Here is a list of chechpoints that I've got and completed (in order of completion)
* Speak With Yaibal And Choose 'Fiend-Destroying Mission Challenge'
* Speak With Clasko At The Entrance Just Before Doing The Mission
* At The Bottom Of Valley, Encounter Ormi, Logos (Get sphere)
* At The Bottom Of Valley, Speak With Maroda
* - Head To The Elevator And Encounter Elma
- Mission 'Mushroom Rock Fiend-Destroying' Complete
* At Youth League HeadQuarters, Speak With Lucil Twice
* At Youth League HeadQuarters, Speak With Meichen Continuously
(no stopping and handshake)

(when i save here, i have 12%....seems all good
* Get Back To AirShip, And Watch Sphere 'Akagi Report 1'
* Get Back To Mushroom Rock Road And Lead Clasko From The Entrance Into The AirShip
* Speak To Clasko At Residental Area
<somehow this doesnt register or something.....all clasko does is say "why wont the room stop shaking" after watching crimson report, am i supposed to talk to rikku and paine??
Doesnt clasko automatically go to ship after i say more the marrier??? do I need to guide him?? hes at ship when i get there.....just sick...

Are you sure you didn't miss something else from an earlier part of the game??

I'm sure.
I check my % every time i do something and I have a few charts that all agree.....did you do anything particular??

Have you been in the Den of Woe, and have you defeated the Machina in Djose Temple in its strongest form?

x_Yuna_x --- from what I can tell, apparently he's in Chapter 1. He made the mistake of starting over completely instead of using New Game Plus. sinfulsol94, don't do that. If you still have your old playthrough, go back, beat it again, and immediately start New Game Plus. Complete whatever tasks you know you didn't do in your previous playthrough. Then, when you get to the decision in Chapter 2 as to who to give the Sphere to, give it to the group you did not give it to before. If you're already at 99%, this should push you over the top. If not, then it'll help a lot. If it didn't, then keep viewing scenes related to that group to push up the percentage. In Chapter 3, make sure to complete the meeting with Maechen in Guadosalam. At the end of Chapter 3, make sure to complete the whistling event. That should be all you need to do --- if you have 100% when you beat the game, then keep hitting X after the Chapter 5 Complete tag, when it switches to the Farplane Glen with Yuna alone and say "Yes" and you should activate the Perfect Ending.

Also, ensure that you get the Mascot dressphere cuz i was on 99% but I left Zanarkand til last and forgot that you need to come back to the airship automatically to get it! Also, resting in the cabin in every chapter may boost your %age if you havent seen the scene with Barkeep and Darling. Suggestion Agent0042: This thread should have a spoiler tag on it

Yes, that's aboslutely right. If you're planning to re-do all the Episode Completes as well, make very sure not to save Zanarkand for last or you will not get Mascot. And note that Episode Completes don't "carry," so you need to re-do them all in your New Game Plus if you want Mascot.

Another good point. In fact, if you missed the bonus scenes with Buddy and Rikku and Cid, you should do those as well.

theres an old man that tells stories in a city, i cant remember what city exactly, but you have to sit and listen to him without skipping anything, that adds percentage.

Cant remember the city cos i hate ffx-2 and thought it was crap, but i hope that helped

Ah okay...well i'm also replaying, because i had about 93% and missed some of the Crimson Spheres :( Kind of annoying.

Hey I was wondering, do you need to complete all the Cloister trials in the Bevelle dungeon and beat Trema to gain 100% completion (first game)?

I don't recommend trying to get 100% completion in one game because it's a real pain in the neck. However, if you are trying to do it, then yes, you need those Cloisters and you need to beat Trema.

AH that explains why I can't get a friggin 'Episode Complete' on Bevelle.

Purrr --- you should already have got an Episode Complete for Bevelle if you qualified for it. As soon as you start the Via Infinito, your status for Bevelle changes to "Mission." And once you complete the Via Infinito, the airship status reads "Mission Complete" rather than Episode Complete.

Hmm......well on the World Screen, Bevelle is still a hotspot. I dunno why. I have started Via Infinito but not passed it. I gave the Awesome Sphere to the Youth League. I dunno where i fucked up. :(

I've started a 100% today and it works.

You don't have to do Via Infinito to get 100% it will just gain you a second episode complete in bevelle

Two Things:

1. Yes, Bevelle will be a Hotspot as long as you have unfinished business in the Via Infinito.

2. No, completing the Via Infinito will not give a second Episode Complete for Bevelle. Once you complete it, the status for Bevelle on the Celsius should read "Mission Complete," even though there's no Mission Complete display once you beat Trema.


Purrr --- are you trying to get Mascot? What exactly happened when you came to Bevelle? Was Isaaru there? If Isaaru was there, then you got Episode Complete, regardless of what you might be doing with the Via Infinito now. If he wasn't there, then you got Episode Concluded.

I really don't remember. I don't think Isarru was there. I'll just pass the game with my 94% data and get the 'good' ending (I pressed X at the farplane to hear the whistling) and start a new game, and give the awesome sphere to New Yevon for extra completion points.

EDIT: Yeah, I want the Mascot Dressphere. But I can't get it coz I ran out of repair manuals too early. I'll have to start a New Game Plus. :(

When you start a New Game Plus, I know you Keep all your dresspheres, but do you get to keep ur items too?
