Eiko Ishiwata is a Vancouver music composer for film, video games, television, advertisements and others. She specializes in recording acoustic instrumentation and avoids using MIDI instrument samples by utilizing her multi-instrumentalist and engineering skills. She currently plays up to 20 different instruments. She is also currently doing remixes of Final Fantasy pieces by replacing their samples or MIDI with real performed instruments.

I notice this is in 128kbps and I can hear a little bit of hissing in the audio.

Is the purchasable version from Amazon any better? Or is this just how this album sounds?

I would be willing to pay for this one, definitely, if it sounds better than this rip you've uploaded.
