Note: when I received the recording sessions, the songs were already chronologically placed in the playlist. My task was to clean up the score. I removed the silences, combined several tracks, leveled out the sound, all my usual stuff. I personally think this sounds better than the OST but to each his own. Some may have to figure out how they choose to listen to this, whether they decide to have the score play first and the music to follow as a separate listening experience or they may choose to listen to it as I've presented it here which combines score with the songs to respect the chronological presentation of the film.
Also to those curious, I have included Brian Tyler's Marvel logo music in its proper chronological place. What a lovely piece of music that is. I just wish a cleaner version existed. I know it's only a small problem but the cymbal crash at 0:14 suffers from an irreparable anamoly where the crash sounds distorted. It's only for that one second and the rest of the cue sounds fine up until the final crescendo which suffers the same distortion.
As a special bonus I included the song "Spirit in the Sky" which plays in one of the trailers to close out the album.
The complete score was presented with some tracks that weren't included on the album which didn't have titles. For those tracks that I wasn't able to find names for from the album, I simply labeled them "Untitled #1, Untitled #2" and so forth and so on. There's not but a few so if anyone can provide titles for those then that would be great. Some of the action cues were split up into pieces so I properly combined them as per the album.
There are a couple of alternates which are mostly the album versions. Some cues on the officlal album don't carry the correct titles which has been corrected upon compiling this set.
The overall sound required some major clean-up due to clipping and other loud volume anomalies. I don't think anyone will be disappointed by the end.
Enjoy! There's still a few more left to go but I'll continue posting tomorrow.
