Hey Guys and Gals.
Something a little special for ye, it is the 'Expanded' score to the VGM 'Far Cry 4' composed by Cliff Martinez.
Few Notes:
1 - I have finished the game first time round using 'Sabal' as the 'Choice' of ruler over the Golden path, then realised If you choose 'Amita' you get new quests (obv) but the music to those quests and her dialogue are different. So I am now in the process of going through the game with Amita as the leader; so I will not be able to post the complete score till I have finished it the second time around.
2a - I have searched, relentlessly for the opening cut-scene music, when you first get to see 'Pagan Min' and I cannot find it for the love of me; I am hoping Alpha does a more complete extraction of this game and comes across it. That and the loading Monk Chant music, I just cannot find. The Opening cut-scene appears to be made up of several tracks that are within the game files itself, but the 'Pagan Min' theme itself, when PM comes out of the helicopter does not feature in the game files, when I looked. There is however a variant of that theme when you a near the end of the game, but again it is not the same, it is a few semi-tones lower and there just is no section of the theme that is separate from any other track, as it appears in the cutscene. So for that reason, there is no opening cut-scene music present in this upload, sorry.
2b - With regards to the Monk Chanting loading music, there is a layered track within the game files that does contain the Monk Chant, but it appears to have layer of music that is not heard in the loading title within the game, also as a side note, I have yet to come across that music in the game itself, so it is likely when you do a quest for Amita or one of the Shangri-La quests that I have still to do.
3 - I have not added any of the source music, simply because 90% of it is APM and I read somewhere that, that music is forbidden. Suffice to say, I do have it fully tagged and with the relevant and proper names of the tracks.
4 - The 'Complete' soundtrack is also not present, there is around 17 discs of music, at the moment (still playing through - See point 1) which includes 4cd's of Source music from APM/Panjabi MC/Bombay Royale etc.
So with all the above taken into consideration, what exactly do you get for ya buck? Well...
- It is Lossless/Flac and coming in at just over 1.2gig
- I have tried to NOT include any music that appears in the OST - Both the 1 and 2cd versions. Although there may be some variant of those tracks present.
- There is 50 tracks, equalling not quite 5 hours of music
- I have, to my knowledge, added all the main quest music (that is not present on the OST's)
- I have added it in chronological order*
* By chronological order, I mean how I played the game. Because this is an open world game, with the exception of the main quests, you may of course do different side quests at different times and get music for those quests differently too. It is also fair to point out that, at different times when I have done outposts and other side quests, there has been different music play at different times. So I am guessing the outpost music and some other side quests music are generic and depends on the game structure itself, will determine which track you actually get. (I hope all that makes sense)
So without further ado...

If you download this file and you like what you hear, it is always nice to leave a thanks/comment (good or bad) and of course depending on how this goes will inevitably determine whether I bother with uploading the full thing at some point. going through over 4,000 files to find the music in the game and not being able to lower the sound of SFX within the game menu has not been the easiest of challenges.
