Here's a really nice rejected score from the 1973 film The Neptune Factor -Music by William McCauley.
The replacement score was by Lalo Schifrin. I've included His Main and End titles as a bonus.

I stand corrected. McCauley did receive scoring credit as "additional music". But the majority of his score was tossed.
I actually prefer his score over Schifrin's.

i enjoyed the movie when it came out and parts of the score were memorable but now i think it was the parts not scored by lalo....

the movie could have used a big budget...but not.

Does anyone have the original score?
Apparently the 2007 dvd included the rejected soundtrack and a M&FX track of Schifrin's music on isolated channels (probably the source for the rip here). Surprised noone has posted the Lalo version already - maybe it has too much sound effects.
