"Prince of Persia. Assassins" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=renzkLMOwok) was announsed in 2004, as a spin-off of the "Prince of Persia" series. Later the game lost it's Prince's roots and became the "Assassin's Creed", that we all know. Don't know about all the tracks (although they all written for the game, that became Assassin's Creed), but the Persia tracks here are deffinitely written for the game, that was a "Prince of Persia" one. Later the music concept was entirely changed, as the game concept as well.

Big Prince of Persia fan here.
But the Assassin's Creed series is really worth it, it became the new game I love, but I am still waiting for that new Prince Of Persia game :)
