Does anyone have the recording sessions for "The Maze Runner" by John Paesano? The official release does a good job of compiling most scores used in the film, but it is missing several that were in the film.

Thanks!

There is such a thing as a requests thread. Posting a whole new thread here with a title like that is very misleading. You could at least put "Request:" in the title in future.

I'd appreciate if you could actually contribute to the request threads I post

In case you didn't notice, this was posted in the Requests forum. Check which forum you're in in the future before making posts like this

I think you need to read more carefully. I said nothing about forums. All I said was that in future you could think of posting a request in a requests thread.

And I simply suggested at least putting the word "request" in the title if you really feel you have to make a whole new thread.

I actually thought that this film score was weak.

Man, I loved this film. I wish the sessions were around, but sadly, I am not sure they are..

With the DVD being out, any news on this?

No.....what does the DVD have anything to do with the recording sessions? There is never "news" about sessions. Exception: Sony

6m39 Main Title? So it does a HTTYD and puts the main title at the end?

I haven't read the books or seen the movie yet, but the premise is very intriguing. It looks like an exciting film, but I've heard some not-so-exciting reviews of it. Was it any good?

Also, isn't the main theme just Horner's ASM theme with an extra major third stuck on the end?!

Yes, because The Maze Runner (AKA 6m39 Main Title) which is the first track on the OST is actually put at the end in the film. It's really weird. So that is the correct placing of it. I was disappointed when I went to go see it in theatres that it wasn't used in the beginning. There is no big opening theme.

Regarding the film, it was alright. I was expecting a little more. I may see The Scorch Trials, which is supposed to be out in September. Same time The Maze Runner opened.

I've listened to Horner's ASM theme a few times and I hear no similarities. I hate that score so much. The Maze Runner is a sweeping, epic track.
