Hey there guys! There have been quite a few Unreal soundtrack rips floating around. Sadly I've been disappointed with pretty much all of them. Either because the tags were wrong, or some tracks were missing, or because they used a tracker implementation that had huge inaccuracies in playback, or because there was sound clipping, etc.

So I did my own yesterday! Here's a "feature list":

* This one comes with proper tags (sourced from the Liandra Archives wiki)
* The tracks are in chronological order (based on point of encounter in the game)
* Pre-calculated replay gain.
* Proper song tails / fade-outs on looping songs. A few songs also loop twice now.
* Rendered at a wider stereo separation to imitate the Unreal implementation of tracker playback
* ISV-Kran was merged into one song (keeping Deck 4 & 3+2)
* Bluff Eversmoking uses part of its alternate mix as second loop
* Unused (but too good not to include) track shoved in-between Mountain Fortress and War Gate

For song titles, I usually stuck to the titles found in the tags of the original UMX tracker music files. If that was not present, I either used the level name or title given by the wiki.

The AAC files are encoded at ~224 kbps constrained VBR.

UPDATE APRIL 24TH 2018: I've fixed Foundry being too slow (sorry!) and added the original Isotoxin in the zips as an alternative for those who want to have the minute-long intro that's missing from the in-game version.

I also wanted a complete Unreal in order soundtrack. The official releases never did it for me.

Thank you! :)

sorry for the super late reply, but better late than never: sadly, the answer is no. i've never played (or almost not at all) the other unreal games, so i wouldn't be suited to make a proper rip. (in fact, i don't even own the later games)

No reason for you to do that as I got that covered :P

Anyway thanks for your work. I can spot at least on thing you can correct and thats "Shared Dig" - this track is supposed to be called just "Dig" - 'shared' comes from Shareware version where it was introduced. As for the music itself... Damn I got 7 gigs worth of various releases and rips of Unreal music. Cant decide how I want it, if it should be divided to atmosphere and action tracks or if they neex to be mixed together...

Hello everyone, just letting you know of an update.

It turns out that an error slipped by me a long time ago—I mixed up files from different sources and managed to confuse myself.

"Foundry" from "Return to Na Pali" was much slower than it should be for most of the track. I fixed it!

I have also added the original Isotoxin to the Unreal zips, if, like me, you're fond of the minute-long intro that was omitted from the in-game version.

Enjoy!

The second half of Nightvision is still much slower than it is when it plays during that section of Terraniux in Unreal.

Not to blame you, though. It seems like that's the only place it plays at the proper high speed it does, no tracker I've seen does so without skipping directly to that part.
