Before i start i have to say that some of my questions might sound a little dumb but i wouldnt wanna end up missing something (like a certain crimson sphere 1 I missed during my first game) and having to go through the whole game again... Thanx for your understanding :p

So... the questions. First of all... do i have to do every single mission i completed in the first game in order to get the perfect ending? I'd really like to be able to skip some of that stuff like the tower calibration thing... or the boring Tobli missions. Or anything that has to do with gaining the dresspheres or accessories i already have from my last game.

2. Can i skip the scenes i ve already seen?

3. By joining New Yevon on the new game plus i get some % i didnt get by joining the youth league. Does it affect the ending?

4. In my first time through the game didnt get any more % by completing via infinito. (Same percentage in the saves before and after the final via infinito boss fights) Do i have to go through with it again?

Thank you in advance.

#1: No, you don't have to do all that stuff a second time. However, some of it may make it possible for you to get completion points you missed before, so be careful about skipping events.

#2: Yes. Pause during cutscenes and you should have an option to skip them.

#3: Nope. It affects the rest of the game pretty heavily though.

#4: Don't know.

1. No, but by any chance you're still after Mascot, you must do everything necessary to get Episode Complete for each section. Episode Completes don't carry from game to game.

2. Yeah, you can do that for most scenes. Just pause and hit Square. When that doesn't work, try using dialogue-skipping with the X button. There are a few it doesn't work on, but it should work for most. If you're going for the Perfect Ending though, be careful. Don't skip any of the Maechen dialogues in Chapter 3 and make sure to still do the whistling at the the end of the chapter.

3. Well, in a way. It helps to push you toward 100% and getting 100% activates the Perfect Ending, which you can get as long as you also meet the requirements for a Good Ending as I described above.

4. That's strange. I don't know why it would have done that. If you're trying for the Perfect Ending, as long as you have 100% by the time you get to the end, then don't worry about it. You should be good as long as you have 100% and met the requirements. But if not, then maybe you should try it again. I think maybe that last fight only adds fractions of a percentage point, not a whole one.

If you already did a particular scene then you're free to skip it. However should you come across you didn't do before, I suggest you do NOT skip it. Since you might loose a couple of % that way.
