thanks
Haven't you ever heard that song that goes "if you want to destroy my sweater, pull the string as I walk away." Or the one that goes, "Oooh-wee ooh, I look just like Buddy Holly, oh oh, and you're Mary Tyler Moore." Or the one that goes, "Say it ain't so, your love is a heartbreaker" and all that?
It's crazy for me to imagine a generation that didn't grow up hearing those songs all the time. O_o
Well, anyway, Weezer's an okay band but you're not missing that much.

I don't think it's a generation thing.
Well, if you're talking about me, anyways.
I never listen to radio except jazz because I find most music played on the radio talentless. I find most popular bands lacking in excitement and musical talent.
hence, seperation from peers when it comes to most music, and from other sources, means not hearing a lot of songs :x

Those songs predate the younger generation that BLAKE SHOTGUN comes from. Hell, I remember that sweater song from when I was in 8th grade. I had no idea it was Weezer until last year. My friend used to always sing it and do a stupid spinny dance, presumably acting out the "pull the string as I walk away" part.

yeah, 's how I am, though I started making efforts to hear what the kids today are listening to a while ago.
