I confirm the noise on the CD Quality version.

I honestly don't know why there are FLACs with different sizes, since it's a lossless format. I thank you for the release but I call bullshit on CD/DVD quality classification, there's no such thing.

UPDATE: DVD quality version does not exhibit the aforementioned problem.

The DVD Quality version is 24 bit audio and 48k sampling rate, CD Quality is 16 bit audio and 44.1k sample rate. And, as you can read in the above site, DVD's can hold higher quality sound than CD's, up to 24 bit audio and 48k sampling rate. This is why i labeled it DVD Quality instead of the original label of Hi-Res, which can range higher in quality.

Well, the soundtrack came in 3 different versions when you preordered. It was 1.6GB in total, and they provided it as MP3s, 16-bit, 44.1kHz (CD Quality), and "High Res", which appears to be 48kHz 24bit. They didn't say DVD, just "high res". THough, 24/48 is also common on Blu-Ray as well.

The CD and high-res versions weren't provided as FLAC, though, just uncompressed WAV.
