This is NOT a complete score. It is only my imagination how official soundtrack from "Lonesome Dove" should have seemed. I've omitted some atonal drama music (for example moccasins scenes from Part I and Part II), or scenes, where the movie sounds really dominated over the music.

I've compared all the music in the movie, minute after minute, with official album. So, when I've found the same, I've replaced music from the movie with cuts from the album. In this way all the music from official album is included.

I've included 12 pieces with sound effects (sfx). I've chosen characteristic pieces of music and scenes, where sfx do not dominate over the music. The most of them are rather little background sounds; I found them very atmospheric (water sounds in "Big Zwey", herd sounds and cowboy whistles in "Wyoming Badlands", or Gus' "IIIIIHHHHAAAA!" in "The Buffalos").

I also included three dialogue scenes: Clara and Gus' reunion, Gus' funeral and the last dialogue between Call and the journalist. I found them important and suitable for all the music (especially "The Man of Vision" dialogue). Now, after two years, I still find this decision right.

All of 80 minutes of music is, of course, in chronological order.
